Time to get the knee (Z) read head installed so we can readout the knee position on the DRO unit. A few bumps along the way but we got there!

Thank you. It does take a while to put together.
one thing i noticed that could become an issue, how close the bracket is across the top of the scale, chips and swarf thrown from drilling getting jammed between when you want to move up or down..

The Ironic thing is spending so many hours on this mod of the drill press and your drilling and tapping hand held on top of a bench vice 😁 Only joking, I realise the drill press is inactive at the moment, I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.
