The upraised can also be Spirit Surmounting Flesh - "The Witch in Proper Garb" while the down turned is Spirit sleeping in its fleshy tomb. You go further with the Astrological implications of the Venus and Mars pursuits, in which case they are simply a matched pair. In Chaldean Astrology, Mars is associated with 5 and it and Venus pursue each other around the heavens in a lopsided pentagram. Then again, you can look at it from a Pythagorean point of view, in which case it contains the answers to "How many beans make five" and the same proportions as the cruciform, as well as the ratios of the overtone octave.

First this was very informative as I knew Satanism wasn't what Hollywood and the Abrahamic Religions say it is, but had no idea what it was. Second, I appreciate seeing more of a masculine representation as in witchcraft it is often seen as a feminine religion... Although, my practice isn't related to any religion as I am not wiccan, but just pagan. Would love to see more men in the practice!

I have encountered this “oh you are Wiccan that means you worship Satan” a lot over the years! Now I have nothing agains satanism but it really vexes me that people try and accuse me of worshiping Satan when I do not Believe in Satan! It is so sad that still so many are ignorant of pagan religions! If someone made that comment about someone following an abrahamic religions they would be called all sorts of horrible things!

Came upon your video on "accident". I was looking to see what is out there in regards to Wicca. Great job done explaining the difference. Growing up in the 70's I knew a lady who always stated she practiced the dark arts i.e. satanism. Fast forward a few years and I find myself thinking that mainstream religion no longer works for me. A friend suggested Wicca since I have irish heritage. So I am now seeking knowledge on Wicca to see if it works for me. Sorry about the lengthy post. Thanks I look forward to watching more of your videos

i wish id had the internet when i was a kid, it made the world smaller, i had a lot of difficulty finding like minded people back then. so much so i thought for a long time i was the only one out there that was both Wiccan and Christian. then one day i found out i was far far from the only one, i just couldnt find others like me so i was for the most part forced to practice solitaire. i couldnt fit in with other Christians unless i kept the pagan half to myself since they see that as taboo. i fit in more with other Wiccans since theres more freedom and "wiggle room" for your beliefs, so i could fit in and be excepted perfectly fine, but for the most part couldnt understand how or why id merge the two, which makes perfect sense to me and feels so much more right than either of the other two alone. it was rough when i was a kid having two seemingly opposite and conflicting beliefs at the same time and being told, its one or the other, though when looking from a certain perspective the two fit together so well. especially when you consider the translation errors in the bible, the books that were cut out and the books that were changed to fit the narrative those in power wanted, and also word play. if you bridge those gaps effectively, the two seem as though they were meant for each other.

Very helpful overview! I price physiological magic as it’s more of a realist trait.

Exactly. For example, "Destruction" magic is just used to make the practitioner feel better about some grievance they might have with someone or something. It's a psychodrama. Like other forms of psychodrama, it's aim is to help those involved gain a new perspective through better understanding of their roles in life. It's essentially using creativity combined with group dynamics and role theory.

Satanism is basically Humanism. Satanism is based on logic and things that are proven which is why it could never be a religion as religion is based on things that cannot be proven. And that’s why I say that these powers of darkness are always welcome in my home. It’s as if the powers of the unknown came and said ‘Hey, we will stay with you and help you.’ That’s what I feel.” When I almost died during surgery I saw my body below as a demon tried to enter my soul and I had to fight him! These things are very real! Personally I do not use electrical lighting at home and on my Satanic Altar or in the studio when I record vocals, only black candles as electrical lighting drives away the spirits and I love having them near me. People who see Satanism from the Christian view point are not treating these powers with respect and that is very dangerous. Also see some things that I understood differently from your other comment, though. Let's begin,... 2 questions: You told me you looked into many things but found no "anschlüss" anywhere. Here you seem very much a Satanist. Did you join and leave? You told me the magic ruins it for you, but in this comment you only talk about proof and really seem into it. Which is it? Similarity??? The Germanic also told of many divine races, all with different "powers" and characteristics. Even Odin himself is different from his brothers. Odin loved humans and his brothers had no interest. They weren't evil or sadistic, they just had no interset in the fleeting life-form.

Just one question concerning Wicca about the God and Goddess. Can you worship a celtic God as your God and a Norse Goddess as your Goddess or is it better to stick with God's and Goddesses of the same pantheon. Thank you.

The symbol I use in my practice of spirituality is a pentagram overlaid with an upside down pentagram having the yin yang symbol in the middle eye. It is to symbolize duality. When I worship the gods and goddesses I also worship myself. I am as much of the god and goddess as they are of me.

And the "Christian" churches have, "Do unto others and you would have done unto you." One of my Mom's favorites. If you are looking for similarities, you will find them. If you are looking for differences, you will find them as well.

Love your work. If I may add a few thoughts. When many hear "Satan" it automatically equates to the Christian "Devil", a singular evil being who opposes god. I blame this on modern translations and doctrine. In the Old Testament the word Satan was used 10 times. 6 referring to humans, 4 referring to angels (who, when you read were probably also human [benay elohim] “sons of God.”) who simply carried out tasks that were less than desirable - often on gods order. It's crazy how things morph!

I really like the 11 satanic rules of the earth because it seems that there very natural for a way to behave yet as for me and most of us I was taught manners many manners that are good overall but take no shit along with manners seems more realistic

As far as Satanists incorporating Magick into their daily lives, I've found that to be more common amongst younger Gen-z and Millenial Left-hand path occultists, Satanists and Laveyans , as opposed to Gen-X and Boomer Satanists who were atheistic and generally averse to folk magic, and worked more with applied Psychology. Satanism is basically Humanism. Satanism is based on logic and things that are proven which is why it could never be a religion as religion is based on things that cannot be proven. And that’s why I say that these powers of darkness are always welcome in my home. It’s as if the powers of the unknown came and said ‘Hey, we will stay with you and help you.’ That’s what I feel.” When I almost died during surgery I saw my body below as a demon tried to enter my soul and I had to fight him! These things are very real! Personally I do not use electrical lighting at home and on my Satanic Altar or in the studio when I record vocals, only black candles as electrical lighting drives away the spirits and I love having them near me. People who see Satanism from the Christian view point are not treating these powers with respect and that is very dangerous. I once actually summoned a spirit in order to prove they are real to a girl who doubted and Satan came. My wife will not look in our mirror in fear something will come out. In Satanism you are your own God. LaVey felt and I agree that we are all individuals born with different needs and views and so he felt everyone should make up their own mind about what to believe in spiritually if anything at all which is why he left a huge void in the Satanic Bible when it came to spirituality or any kind of religious beliefs and so within the Satanic Philosophy a person can still be a Christian if that fulfills their spiritual needs. Satan also means the Opposite, Inverted, Reversed which is why we wear the Satanic crosses and pentagrams. Satan means the opposite of religion. Satanism is living out your feelings and instincts without feeling it is a sin, enjoy yourself while you are here now while you can and have your own individual beliefs. One thing I consider almost mandatory though is believing there are powers around us. And you can use these powers to help yourself or those you care about. Or throw these powers at people in a negative way. I am not religious at all but you can say I am spiritual due to my experiences and beliefs. The Satanic bible is not really a bible because a bible is for religion so it should be called a book of philosophy instead. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. When people see the word ‘Satan’ they see only negative. Satan is not only bad, to me. It represents both sides of everything. I don’t believe in the Christian devil. “Christianity has both God and the devil. I believe there is neither of these two. I believe in the powers of the unknown, which I have experienced many times. I know that rituals work. I don’t do them often because you can easily misuse them. They will get back at you if you don’t respect them. Rituals can channel the forces that surround us all the time but I respect the powers and will not abuse them in any way. The Satanic Bible is 70 percent Philosophy and 30 percent magic. Satan is the power of the universe. Satan to me is the Powers of Darkness, not a man with horns. Some people think Satanism is what the Christian church portrays it to be. If you are as bad and as evil as you can be and you think that’s Satanism then you have become part of the Christian religion. That is Christian Satanism which is not what I am about at all. LaVey Church of Satan Rev. Thomas Thorn - " There is a spiritual dimension that communicates with us and there are powers and deities in this spiritual world. We use Satanic Rituals to summon, communicate with and make pacts with Demons. My spiritual beliefs may differ from the spiritual beliefs of other Satanists. Once a Black Goat actually spoke to me I am dead serious. We had a pic of a church burning for a reason. We understand mans desires and needs for spirituality in his life and for rituals. Atheism rejects spirituality and that is not what we do as Satanists. Satanists are spiritual people. I can't help but feel I have a guardian spirit. Would not surprise me if fans at our shows are possessed by evil spirits. Drugs help the ritual mindset as well. Anton LaVey performed a Satanic Ritual with some people and weird supernatural stuff happened and LaVey said "HE is here"! This is why the Books The Satanic Bible and the Satanic Rituals by Anton stress to treat these entities with respect as friends and companions and to be in league with these Powers and not use protective circles and pentagrams which insult these forces. And to use rituals to create sort of a relationship with these powers. LaVey said he called on brother Satan to spare the boys life and it worked! " Church of Satan video documentary "Satanis" many Satanic Church members were asked if they believe in a God or Powers and they said "Yes they do" Church of Satan Reverend Bryan Moore - We believe in curses. Was it coincidence or was it curse around the making of the "Omen" well it seemed like a lot of bad things happened around them COS Rev. Vincent Crowley - I believe in a Demonic world. Not the type christians talk about but the kind a Black Magician can tap into and demand their will be done. I think things are out there, I think there’s forces out there, I think obviously things you can tap into, but I don’t think of them as little horned creatures ready to poke you with a pitchfork or that kind of stuff. I think of them as almost crafty kind of concepts. Things are in maybe different realms or different dimensions-could be scientifically explained somewhere down the road you know, not some weird hell or tales like that. I love all of your videos, Mannon. I don't *believe* in much, I try to only speak on what I know. I know that Satan is alive and exists in many here in this world. Although, Satan, could be the wrong name, altogether, for what some see as evil. I respect people who follow Satanism, and know they are most likely on their right path for the time being. I could never follow it, myself, though. I'm a life path 9, such as yourself, and have always had a deep need to live for and care for others. I've learned boundaries over the years but I still hold that to be a concentrated part of who I am at my core. NDE's and spiritual work have taught me a lot about the soul purpose of love. It's interesting how we can all define that differently. Maybe it means loving all to me, and for someone else it means putting themselves first. I used to struggle with this, growing up with a mother who very verbally promoted herself above others, so I'm sure that impacted my take on it. As a practicing Satanist and Witch, I will firstly say, I enjoyed watching your video and really enjoyed the differentiation of different sects/forms of Satanism and Satanic Practices and Philosophies. However, a correction for general public: when it comes to “how to become a Satanist” needs specification. To become an active member that works up into CoS, you would pay a fee and do the required work. This shows your dedication and interest in moving up with organization specifically. This does not apply to general followers or practices of Satanism. For both Modern and Laveyan, the only requirement for practice is one self and knowledge of your practice. Additionally, Modern Satanism, internationally recognized as The Satanic Temple, allows you to purchase a certificate or membership card, but is not required to be a member. To be a member of TST, simply practice/support the tenets and philosophy, as a lot of their work is political and socially active.

@@elizabethcatherine9188 I am 43 years old now but I started studying through lineages of Taoism, Energy and Astrology at the age of 16. I went through several "dark nights of the soul" as I was brought up in the Cathloic/ Christianity church and eventually married a Christian man and saw all the hypocrisy, which is where I really became the most disciplined. Once I left him, I formally studied under a High priestess who understood many of the eastern lineages and helped me pull it together. But I needed it because I was a hedge witch and was astro traveling so much, that I couldn't lead a daily normal life. I needed to learn how to call in the elements and focus the energy. I was also having WAY too many downloads and psychic visions (like about covid and all the collective energies were pounding me) so the formal training really helped. When you get to a point in your practice when you know you are a witch and you have done all you can alone, you should get formal training in a tradition that best suits you. Good luck!

If you like cooking, try kitchen witch and work with herbs. I am just really into metaphysics and philosphy, past lives, ect... but some people are more hands on and like to have a more felt experience...I actually like healers and reiki practioners and kitchen witches...I wish I could be like that but I just happen to be very loopy..LMAO

Hi from being a proper little Christian until 10 or 11 years. So when I saw one of the mass it was very pantomime in my view and I laugh. Again another man made but with no answers. I had to go back to raw gods and goddesses as it was tit for tat . I’m showing the way not Roman Catholic anymore. I was baptised, holly communion, and last confirmation. I used to identify strongly as a Satanist. My grandfather taught me the faerie way but it was my close friends Genesis and Paula P'orridge (from the punk group Psychic TV) who taught me how to utilise and perform actual magick spells whilst I lived in Brighton U.K. (It is odd that it was my friend's who wife taught me the beauty of BDSM! it is not really something you you can teach your family members but anyway moving on...) There is much that I admire about Lavey's system of magick encouraging personal responsibility and individuality, However there is a danger in constantly aligning and associating with people like Charles Manson, Adolph Hitler and Stalin. Eventually you become the boogeyman that terrifies polite society. Just look at Marilyn Manson (also known as Brian Warner) he really only has himself to blame for the predicament he finds himself in these days and has become a self full-filling prophesy. I am more of a cabbalistic Rosicrusian these days. I am studying to become a knight Templar and have been a member of that order for 20 odd years now. (I have seen the actual Baphomet statue used by the original Templars. it resides in Wiltshire in a secret grove and was initiated into that order before that idol) I will not say anymore on this subject at the moment but will disclose more later on . As a Satanic Witch I think you did great research on Satanism! Anton Lavey's philosophy is definitely something I loved when I first read it, but at the same time I think it may be a little dated. Its not something to be taken as dogma anyways. I also really like The Satanic Temples philosophy, is similar to Lavey's but more modern and compassionate. (Although I respect and appreciate Lavey I do not support the Church of Satan much, aside from their funny Twitter comments). But honestly if it wasnt for Satanism I wouldn't have progressed to practicing witchraft. So officially I consider myself an eclectic witch with satanic philosophy as a core of how I carry myself.

LeVey was a genius, pointing out things that are natural (to all animals) where the Arabian cultural based religion tries to take normality out of life. But the group identifies with the identity of this foreign religion. Rebelling against it, but finding truth only in opposing the their truth. Therefor the Satanists are not independent. The way LeVey organized his "church" is the same as the "christian" system. I do agree with his doctrine, though. What I believe is important to realize is the way christianity is practiced by "Europeans". The god that is mentioned in the old testament of the bible is not the god christians worship. Thus the name which they identify with: Christians. They follow the word of Jesus Christ. Now Jesus was just a dude like many others in his time. Rebelling against the system. But there was nothing all that special about him. His name was just used to replace the most beloved Germanic god. Same appearance, same personality, same "powers" but an Arabian name to fit the new religion. The old Germanic might've been called heathens by others, but they were very devoted to their gods, very religious, if you will. So the new story got molded to the Germanic culture, but it really didn't fit. The book was composed 300AD by a Roman emperor, was rewritten as koran 600AD and the story came to Europe about 900AD. The first Northerner to convert was a Viking in 1066, who would get a chunk of land, Normandy in France, in exchange of converting his religion. The French king thought christians wouldn't go rampaging like the Vikings did, but in truth the Vikings were just looking for land. Still, the Northerner is known for keeping his word and the Viking chieftain converted to christianity, obligating his people to do the same. From there the new religion spread and gained power. Finally so much that it could be made mandatory. It still took another 200 years to mold the Arabian story to Germanic culture. And still many did not want to join. Such people were considered witches. In only 300 years the first troubles started. Calvijn was the first to talk about it, Maarten Luther was the first to publicly speak out and challenge the church. After that the whole system splintered, with the North first abandoning catholicism. The Roman Catholic church finally held most comparison to the old ways, with their many "idols" who were worshipped like the old gods were. Many lost their lives over that, catholicism being equal to paganism for protestants, but ALL considered witches who didn't follow the mainstream way. The Dutch (Calvinists from the first splintering) went to America for business and obtained good relations with the natives. Germany and Britain changed religion every time their king changed, where followers of the opposite religion got butchered and they went to America to save their lives and keep their religion. One good example being the Scottish catholics that lost their land to the protestant English king in 1746. Of course from 1845 till 1849 many Irish sought a better life overseas after the potato famine. Those people were not planning on just trading with Native Americans, they wanted the land to live on. Well, we all know how that ended, but it's important to see that it first started because of religion. A religion that wasn't even theirs. In the end those Europeans did to the Native Americans what the church did to themselves: taking away their own culture. I'm gonna go to a different video now and leave the rest there,...

@@balderii7340 Me personally I do not have any religious or spiritual beliefs. I looked in so many things and just see no evidence at all for anything spiritual.

As a spiritual Satanist (also Wiccan) I would say the practices that are done are very spiritual. Morning, go to his alter and connect, pray, invoke, etc, same as wicca and other magic paths. Venus satanas is a very devoted spiritual Satanist and has a channel.

A Wiccan Witch actually gave me a candle with Lucifer's Sigil etched onto it. it also has herbs sprinkled on it. I light it when I am watching the show "Lucifer" and it's as if Lucifer is there with me drinking red wine and just carrying on like two bros. Poor Lucifer is so misunderstood. The way I currently understand the Christian God is through the Gnostic lens. The God of Abraham is Yaldabaoth (the demiurge.) I view Wicca and other nature based spiritual practices that honor the feminine aspect of divinity (as well as the masculine) as part of the "Sophianic Correction."

This dilemma drives me crazy as someone who is, yes, a witch, but my patrons are literally the kings of hell so anyone who doesnt know anything about Lucifer will think im evil lol

You might also point out that the Baphomet is a *Gnostic Christian Diagram* that was used by the Knights Templar. It was later adopted - with its original use and meanings - by Renaissance Occultists such as Eliphas Levi. At the same time, the Catholic purges of all things either Gnostic or Templar and the following Protestant repetitions thoroughly demonized the diagram. Silver.... Christmas is awesome!!! I love Christmas, but I call it Yule or the Winter Solstice. Most everything you see in Christmas is actually taken from Paganism. The one Satanist I know is very talented, creative, energetic, and intelligent. Lost.....it is true that there are many gods in Hinduism and that it abounds in image worship, but while these various gods are considered different gods in paganism as traditionally represented, in Hinduism they represent the various forms of the one and same God. Thus a plurality of gods does not denote polytheism in Hinduism but rather the plurality of the forms in which the same one God might appear.

Satanism is part of the occult. I feel like if people in the magic community would be more acceptable to Satanism as Manon than most of the public wouldn't classify anything magic related to Satanism. We are in this together. People like wicca because it's getting more recognized and more people are openly practicing it. No need to hate. Most Satanist don't see Satan as a evil entity. I'm both a spiritual Satanist and Wiccan.

However after reading the what is written in the Satanist Bible i realize that Satanism takes humans to a completely different path from what we are supposed to go. As humans no matter how we try to look after ourselves (and we definitely should) we are always wired for fulfillment of the Supreme kind and there is where Hinduism balances existentialism with bhakti (devotion to God). Satanism draws much from the ideas of Nitzsche which in itself is an incredible recepy for self destruction.

I don't see nothing wrong with enjoying the flesh. In the satanic Bible the statements are to oppose the so called sins of Christianity because the sins are redundant. Yes greed I believe is a sin, we shouldn't be greedy and only take what we need, what lavey says is that(in greed) is that most of us do greed, parties get togethers, etc. And the list continues with the explanations on the sins. I myself am very compassionate and empathic, vegan and caring. Won't even kill a fly and I try to avoid walking on grass (bugs) . No religion taught me this but myself. It's naturally who I am. I actually left a satanic group because 80 percent posted on wanting fame and money. A serious follower of Satan wants nothing more than to bond and its a very spiritual experience. There is nothing wrong with bonding rather problem is bonding for all the incorrect reasons. One is free to love the natural existence and definitely free to love their partners however it should be viewed as a gift from God. If one tries to improve oneself without God as the ultimate aim then they will undeniably attract destructive energies which will lead them towards self destruction. This consequence has got nothing to do with sentiments it's simply a mechanical process.

What's the deal with Thelema? Sounds a lot like Satanism

Thelema is the OTO.... Nothing to do with Satanism. I am a first degree in that path too.

Satanism is simply gnosticism. There is nothing 'evil' about wanting to take control of your life - it is the most responsible thing you can possibly do. Most Satanists outgrow it and either A - become Buddhists, B - reclaim their true pagan heritage or C- become Rosicrucians who follow the deeper teachings of Christ (such as yours truly).

I talk to Satanists all the time nowadays about Satanism

Satanist do practice there philosophy everyday ...just as a Wiccan.We also use the Pantheons of God's and goddesses for there mythical and legendary powers they hold.Not as real entity.

ONA is different from Satanic temple... Your translation of greater and lesser magic is off a little. But your doing a fair job describing the Satanic Churchs but Lucifarians are simply left hand path and defiantly not Satanic. Lucifar is a actual anticent God. Lucifar is the heavenly god in Babylonia and Samaritan. Modern Christian actually worship Lucifar.

Great magkic is spiritual spell casting and lesser magic is backing up your spell work with the physical doing... Yes cast spells on your enemies but your Satanic friends will also physically help you in the destruction of your enemy.. its a go all out way ... it's actually kinda pathetic thing of bully on the internet... it's a horrific thing when they can actually get to you

The main reasoning that Ceremonial Magicians of the past put together the systems and practices they did, was to ultimately achieve divine enlightenment. They believe in pursuing Self Growth by connecting to higher powers and ancient intelligence forms. This system of Magick is called High Magick. Some examples of High Magick practices are Qabalah, Enochian practices, Goetic and planetary magick or Alchemy. The object here is that through ritual practice one is to achieve a pure and cleansed state of being physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually in hopes to gain communication and insight with higher spiritual powers, their Holy Guardian Angel for instance, to guide them on their spiritual path in showing them their true Nature and True Will. Quite the alternate, Low Magick is utilizing the forces and energies of our natural surroundings to “Cause change to occur in conformity with the Will.” Unlike High Magick where one is seeking to gain enlightenment through meditation and ritualizing to achieve synchronicity with higher beings, in Low Magick we are simply utilizing the energies around us to achieve Earthly goals. For example, one may do a prosperity spell or working to achieve a little extra push and bounty to pay next months bills. One may perform a fertility spell for that extra oomph that may be needed for the miracle of producing offspring, or growing crops. People find it so much easier to believe in Satan than God. If you believe in satan, you cannot deny yahweh. And if yaweh is the one true God, then if you worship anything else (even if that is roman God's & goddesses or other deities), then actually because you are turning away from the living God Yahweh, you must be glorifying satan. For satan doesn't need you to praise his name, he only wants you to turn away from God.

Hey, as a freelance scholar/ researcher, I really like how you called Wicca a "resurrection!" I think you would really like the published Ph.D. dissertation of a friend of mine, which was published a couple years ago: "The Pagan Heart of the West" in 5 volumes by Prof. Randy P. Conner.

I was a satanist but now I’m a white witch Wicca is a nature based religion not all witches worship gods and goddesses there are some agnostic witches satanist do not believe in the devil they have very strong beliefs in themselves they look at themselves as their own gods in their own world essentially satanism is a atheist religion Wicca can also come and different beliefs some Wiccan’s/witches believe in the goddess hekate or Hecate the goddess of witchcraft or modern day Wicca,Wiccan’s technically do a lot more spell work than satanist however satanist do have a belief in magic but there not doing it to a god more it would be than worship and praise to themselves good video
