Wow look at all the judgy people..We each have our own belief and in that the right to choose which path we want....to be guided through, over lifetimes. I myself a 1st degree Wiccan (an earth based religion and spiritual practice). It doesn't matter what you want to believe, that is all apart of your contract when you come to the earth and reincarnated. People need to understand more about their own lives and not get caught up in who is right and wrong. We should be encouraging each other in our paths (whatever that may be) and feeling blessed that we are even here on this wonderful exsistance taking breath. As someone who practices witchcraft, I can say that there are some things that are wrong in this video. Also for all the people in the comments are saying Bible verses, wiccans don't believe in the existence of Satan or demons, demons and Satan are part of judaic, monotheistic religions, wicca is neither a judaic nor monotheistic religion. @Neighborhood Zen Priest (Im not saying any of this to be rude, so sorry if it sounds that way). Wiccans celebrate the solstices and equinoxes, but they don't celebrate the Sabbats. The Sabbats are part of paganism because the Sabbats worship other gods, not the ones that wicca follows. Also, robes don't really have any special significance to wicca other than the fact that they can be used as a form of protection and that they can be worn for ceremonies, but they aren't necessary and ceremonial garb can change depending on the coven also, skyclad (ceremonial nudity) has more importance to the religion then robes skyclad is just less commonly used nowadays. Also, in wicca, they don't just worship the Triple Goddess and Horned God but also nature. And wicca is largely based on celtic druidism (I just wanted to mention that because a lot of people don't know)

@@crow_lord1896 Thank you for describing this.. i my self am a witch but i dont belong to any coven, and i just resontly startet saying it out loud even though i was born this way. i didnt even realise how many "types" of witches and diferent way of practise it there was before resontly because i just kept to my self. and the wicca i stumbled oppont in my own country made me a bit confused and with many questions. your explaniation does make a lot of sense to me. so thank you.

Over the centuries, mankind has given those energies countless names, therefore we believe all Goddesses are one Goddess and all Gods are one God. How ever you want to address them is up to you and however they reveal themselves to you.

Traditionally It is the triple goddess and horned god however you may chose to address them however they present themselves to you. A big part of wicca is acknowledging one individuality so who they are to you is your own choice. :)

I once had dedicated my life to witchcraft. Clairvoyance, tarot card reading, celestial prophecy you name it I was probably doing it. Black magic was everything to me. I too thought I had found a sense of home and belonging until betrayal happened from one of my closest friends. It was admitting myself into a Christian rehab centre looking for drugs and a bed that I found out who Jesus was. Honestly, I went because I knew I could get the drugs that I couldn't get on the street, and I had nowhere to live at the time, so it provided an opportunity for me. I may have learnt to live without all the necessities of this world, but even better I said to God then, if you ever lie to me, I will walk away 21 years later. He has still kept to that promise of never leaving or forsaking me. Deuteronomy 18:10 - 13 “Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God.” There is no such thing as a good witch or a bad witch, all are the same to Jesus. Galatians 5:19 - 21 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But he came to fulfill the law and turn it from a moral justice system to a heartfelt message of repentance. Honestly, what people choose to believe is their truth to them, and all I can say is that is fantastic. I am not about to stop them from doing that, all I am doing is sharing what I choose to believe just the same is what this video is highlighting, the belief of what others believe is true to them.

It's also cliche'. I practiced Wicca for 20 years and no one dresses like this in the video and other videos. Also, no one is as peaceful and wise as they try to portray themselves. On the flip side, Catholic priests and Christian ministers sound cheesy, obnoxious and equally pretentious.

Not to mention that the early Christians were prosecuted by the Jews and Pagan Rome under Nero. The persecution of "witches" were based out of fear. No one actually practiced witchcraft at this time.

Hello :) I was raised Christian (Methodist to be exact) by my dad. However my mom was wicca and comes from a long lineage of spiritualty and magick practices. My mom passed when I was young so I never learned about any of it but when I started talking to my grandma she introduced me to wicca which immediately felt more natural to me. So that's what I follow. Wicca doesn't believe in hell as Christianity does so you saying that my soul is going to hell is not threating or scary to me. I respect your values and religion and ask you to do the same with mine, I'm am not asking you to be supportive of my decisions but I do ask you to respect my individuality and ability to make choices as a fellow human being.
