I had that shrimp/avocado bowl today... It was really good...My wife had the chicken bowl....That rice was just as good...Next time we head up that way ...We will be back...

@@tnek6591 I do have a question. I think I prefer buying a home, when I retire, hopefully in 2 years, north of Lake Sumter Landing, maybe even in the Spanish Springs area. I would be 64. Is the age demographic north of Lake Sumter Landing beginning to change to a younger age, say 65 and under, as the older residents move out for one reason or another? From what I have heard, the residents in the villages south of route 44 are definitely a younger age demographic, but the idea of not much shopping and a $20,000 or more bond on a new home doesn't appeal to me. If you could share your thoughts about the age demographics in the various parts of The Villages, that would be great. Thank you.

@@lauralampe1664 thank you for your question ( we love questions ) it looks like you understand the demographics already. The older people in Spanish Springs are definitely moving on. I have sold several recently in the Rio Grande, Alhambra and Del a Vista areas. All new retirees, early 60s, one couple bought a house as an investment and a future place to live when they retire. They are 48 with a retirement goal of 60. It is also possible to buy a house in that area that needs modernization but one thing that you won’t have is a large bond. Most either have a very low bond or no bond at all. I noticed some of the bonds in the new area are over $30,000. There isn’t a bad area in the Villages but it is nice to get an are where you will feel comfortable. Another area where people the same age as you are moving to is the Ashland, Lynnhaven area. Definitely worth a look. Thanks again for getting in touch. Jana

@@tnek6591 I also like the Bonnybrook/Lynnhaven/Ashland areas. So convenient to the shopping & restaurants on 466. I have rented 2 patio villas in this area. The owner of one of the patio villas said she was 50 when she purchased her home in Lynnhaven.

Oh my gosh! What a beautiful villa, and she decorated it with such style. Gorgeous! Are there any alligators in that marsh outside of the fencing??

Lol no alligators in the thick vegetation but various sizes in lake Sumter. Not a problem usually, they are scared of us as much as we are of them

Thank you. Cameraman is my Fiancé. He doesn’t like to be on camera although he is in a lot of the videos for about a second 🧐

And drunken senior citizens, driving their golf carts at noon. Its hilarious. I was a gate guard for 5 years. Senior citizens were getting arrested for being smashed, on a their freaking golf buggies (mostly women).

Is it possible to buy a single family home in the village's for a quarter million???
