Loved the comment about being able to lift others so easily and with passion and yet we can't do it for ourselves and instead berate ourselves on the daily. Imagine how different our lives would be if we could change that....I'm working on it!! Currently listening to The High 5 Habit. 💕

I love Mel always have since her ted talk, but I must say Josh's writing has changed my life a lot. I find it methodical yet beautiful. His writing just speaks to me and I love his thought process as a person. I don't have social media, but I specifically made a Patreon account just for the minimalists because I find Josh so insightful to my life. Truly happy that I found their documentary on Netflix all those years ago.

I'm a mirror avoider, funny thing is that just recently similar thought came to me, without the high five, just looking at myself and remembering that I'm human and deserve better treatment from myself. Mel seems amazing, will look into her podcast too, thanks

… all the things i beat myself up with is what my env growing up begrudged me for. as a child learning the world, i didn’t know and then in school, my young adult life etc. became more judgement from society and all of it i internalized and became my opinion of me and became why i lose in life then became blame… my efforts have been to change this, enlighten my life and that effects others… everyday though i feel like i have failed at life… this simple act of hi5’n myself is something i’ll be doing a lot, especially since a lot of the world around me will counteract that.

she talks a good game. Here's mine Tell everyone to go to hell MOVE FORWARD When they want to call you when you succeed? "please leave a message" If you wanted me to win, you would have been there from step 1, not step 14252 when you wanted something " Learning when to say NO THAT is the best thing. SAY NO If you were as good as you said you were, you would have been showing me how to do this by now You didn't. Please...leave me alone..I'm doing things.
