Definitely agree with Harry, pitch asap, fire up your yeast and let your chiller bring it down to temp. You’ll have good oxygenation from the splashing of your fermenter fill and safe wort overnight. Loving the journey, wish I had KZreadd my own journey.

Get started now, the more the merrier!

She is away. I sometimes miss my pitch temp, especially in the summer. I have pitched up to 28C in the past with 05 and let the chiller bring it down. Usuall gets down before the yeast wake up properly and is ticking away nicely by the morning. I would rather lose a few yeast cells than leave the wort vounerable overnight.

Very impressive, watched both videos today and take my hat off to you. I moved from 30L to 60L and that was interesting, I fully appreciate your effort and the challenges you face. Congratulations, kick on !!

I must of missed the first maiden voyage brew day. Congratulations I totally understand why you went ahead and brewed after doing the cleaning. You would of been itching with anticipation to finally test out all that hard work you've been putting in. You've finally made some wort after all these Months First of many I hope!

Lovely job. Best of luck for the future. I remember the first time I did an all grain brew, I finished at 3.30am in the morning!
