I'm Andy and along with Elliott and Sarah we run a small, family owned commercial brewery in Cheshire, UK
We built the brewery mostly from salvaged and repurposed stuff, filmed weekly episodes on KZread and we continue to share what happens each week with our subscribers.
We're part time brewers, and in the week I work for a global electronic components distributor. You might catch me vlogging in Minnesota, Munich or Middlewich!
Our brewery was created in the spirit of sharing - knowledge, recipes, support and friendships.
We won't make millions, and that's OK. We do it for the love of great beer.
Enjoy the journey with us, and if you like this sort of thing a few more subscribers would be fantastic.
Updates weekly and sometimes more often.
Finally, as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases for any Amazon links I share. Cheers!

Great update Andy. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post. Good opening session for the weekend tonight and looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow.
I dont mind the colour at all nice work andy
Glad to see things going well mate. Hopefully can get down for a beer on one of the weekends in August 🍻
Hope to see you there!
Floor looks great I absolutely love the squeegee brush tool get it patented. Didn’t notice the bum shot but after you pointed it out I zoomed in for a better look 😂 the brewery and tap room looks absolutely fantastic what a great job you guys have done. I was a fan from the start but your content just keeps getting better and better. Cheers for the effort you put into everything you do ,from a BIG fan cheers 👍🍻
Back at you mate. Come and brew here some time Rick. Door is always open.
Another great video Andy. Doubling the space has more than doubled the benefits you are now getting from it. You shouldn't have mentioned the hole in your Shorts, I hadn't noticed it until you said.
I could guarantee someone would notice... like when my zip is undone in most videos.
Thanks for the update - hoping to pop over in August🤞
Hope to see you then Richard!
That was a very comprehensive update 😉. I am hoping to pop in for a couple over the weekend 👍
Hope to see you at the weekend
Good lads on that install! Should have seen the installers I got from CityFibre in Sheffield... They came in like bulls in a chinashop and didn't install it where I asked them either.
Just had Zzoomm installed in Crewe last week. What is the reliability like?. I also went with the 2Gig service coming from Sky BB. On 60Mbps, 2Gig is absolutely amazing
Most of the time it's seriously fast. They have been hitting bandwidth issues locally a few times and needed to upgrade the backhaul but it's all been stable for a while now. I'm very happy with it so far. Customer service is not great but not really needed it much.
@@FourPriestsBrewery Thanks for the heads up. Tbh customer service with all ISP are shocking so hopefully I’ll never need to ring them.
Brewery is looking amazing Andy! A side pour tap to connect to a lager keg or the tank would be cool to complete the set 👍
Great idea
Really good update Andy, the brewery is looking in fine fettle in both areas, you have come a very long way in a short space of time, bravo Sir
I watched a few old videos last night and I was amazed too. Cheers
Really interesting your video just popped up on my home page. I’ve always been fascinated with the small breweries. I'll get on to the back catalogue. 👍👍
Glad you found us! Thanks for watching :)
So made up for you mate, looks awesome.
Thanks 👍
We'll be down on Sunday for a few. See you then 👍
Look forward to seeing you!
Great update, I don’t know how you’re finding the time to do everything but keep it up. I recently had my hand pump apart to give it a good clean it’s interesting how it works but surprisingly straight forward. Enjoy the coming weekends, cheers 🍻
Might be in touch!
A bit of free arsecheek. You are spoiling us, sir.
FourPriests OnlyFans channel coming up!
Love the tee shirt!
It’s a bit dated but I found it hiding since about 2017 in my office recenrly. Cheers!
Having built my brewery with a Pi at the heart of it, your t-shirt made me smile.
Thanks for the video
I just watched all your videos from the start. I really did enjoy them. If I ever get a chance to cross the pond to your side I would love to have a beer at your tap room. Cheers and keep up the good work!!!
Please do! Give me a call if you ever make plans. Thanks for watching.
A wonderful episode Andy. Thanks and great to see the whole brewery & taproom in this episode. Quite an improvement from when I stopped by to see you 13 months ago from the canal boat we rented. Keep it up and thanks again!
I remember you calling in very well, thanks for your support it means a lot.
Thanks!
Hi Paul, thanks a lot for chipping in I really really appreciate it a lot. Hope you’re doing well!
Best thing you can do that..proper glasses, makes a massive difference. Careful with those seals on the angram..can be a nightmare...thanks so much for youre beers Andy..absolutely made up..Jackie said it was a delight to meet u which hopefully i will soon in the Tap Room..cheers mate🍺👍
Hiya Dave, you’re most welcome! Timing wasn’t great to give you a shout in this vid but defo next one!. Come over any time!
@@FourPriestsBrewery no need for a shout mate🍺😊
Hope to pop in one day for a visit to try the beers in person, but will have to make the 3 hour drive worth it 😂 Had a 12 mixed pack delivered a couple of weeks ago, all fantastic beers! Cheers!
Thanks for the order mate, much appreciated!
Great work Andy🍺
I was just getting ready to bug you for an update!… lol. I’m glad it’s going well! The brewery and tasting room look awesome! Cheers buddy! 🍻
Book flights!
It's remarkable how far the brewery has come in just a few years, especially when you can't commit 100% of your time to it. It will be great to see some branding added to the tap area, really placing the stamp of Four Priests Brewery to the customers.
I have something MEGA planned..... can't tell yet :)
what about jellyott
Couldn't do it without him.
what about Harry..
You'd have to ask Harry about that.
The floor looks great. You guys are doing a fantastic job and I wish you all the best ,you know I’m a BIG fan Andy cheers 👍🍻
Cheers Rick!
Does Middlewich not have a train station, looked at coming in July and it is over 2hrs from Wigan by public transport. Google is saying I get the train to Crewe then a number 37 bus to Middlewich getting off at Cats Bar. Can you move the brewery somewhere near a train station please?
Used to have one. The line’s still there jist there’s no station. Went in the 60’s I think, now it’s freight and diversions only. There’s a campaign to re-open it. Winsford and Sandbach stations are nearest then an Uber. Wigan-Crewe-Sandbach/Winsford.
Also, you can drive and stay over at the Newton Brewery/White Bear/Boars Head/Kinderton. I can’t really recommend as I’ve never stayed!
@@FourPriestsBrewery Only problem is I will have two dogs with me as I can't leave them at home on their own so staying over is more challenging. Thanks for the info, I'll see if mrs hoverdog will drive :)
@@HoverdogBrewery Well if she doesn’t mind …. :) Dogs are fine in the tap room btw, and there are pet friendly hotels nearby should you wish. Cheers!
Thanks, great update. Floor looks very smart and must help with cleanup. Great to hear the tap room days have been a success. Hope the future opening days are plenty busy for you. All the best.
Looks brilliant Andy
I’m down your way in two weeks, hopefully I’ll catch you then, looking forward to it 🍻
Looks great, and glad to hear the tap room openings have been successful. Still need to plan that trip up.
Fantastic video! ThaWishing you great success on your brewery adventure!
Awesome job on the floor🤩 As expected I think, removing the kit, some more adjustments to be made, more footage for us I hope🤗 Understand the taproom struggle but it needs time, I'm confident you'll find the balance. Just saw lots of joy those first openings👌
Fantastic floor, Colour is less important than you bank balance. God, I wished I lived closer, I'd love to get up there for one of your open days.
Epic!
The floor looks good, Andy. Just tell folks it's a blue brick colour that is more brick than blue. Actually it's a similar colour to the quarry tiled floor in my kitchen brewery.
The floor looks fantastic Andy I really like the colour 👍before you put all your equipment back would it be beneficial to put some kingspan or something similar on that back wall to help keep the brewery warmer during the winter? Cheers Andy
The wall is the easy part, it's the roof that's the big problem with heat retention
Sun's out..? What's that?
Slight worrying to see none of the workers were wearing masks when grinding the floor. Concrete dust contains harmful silica particles.
There were definitely masks in other parts of the process, during mixing particularly. Good point though! The grinding was almost dustless to be honest - I was fascinated by that. The vacuum attached to the grinder was massive.
Great update Andy and loving the epoxy floor as well, bit outside my equipment/skillset but who knew about the blown screed on there, that surface should be good for many years to come 🔥
The floor looks great. The tap rooms is a whole other dimension to the business looking forward to seeing you succeed on that side as well. I keep saying I have to come up and visit, with the tap room openings there’s even more reason to. Cheers 🍻
Well I think the floor looks great but my missus has always said there only taste I have is in my mouth 😅. Plus I will be up in sandbach for your first weekend. Hurrah😁
See you soon. Dogs welcome too!
Looking good Andy, all the best for the next open weekend.
Great listening to your thoughts regarding the tap room. Amazing no profits were made from Folk n Boat weekend but it makes sense..Good news is though profits can be made from a normal weekend..the floor looks like a really neat job...glad things are coming to for you Andy...worked hard mate🍺👍
You sent me your regards through a tap room visitor. Arrived safe. Cheers :)
If branding is an issue just paint a blue circle and throw a logo down on it
That floor is a beauty, I love it.
Brew a Rye pale to match the floor, branding sorted
