This video series takes place at Cedros Island in Baja, Mexico during July of 2023. Cedros has become one of my favorite fisheries that I have had the pleasure of fishing over the years.
We had an overall very slow start to the morning. Running down bird school after bird school of finicky yellowtail. Topping it off with pretty rough and windy conditions adding to frustrations.
However, once we found some cooperative fish, they were eating anything we casted at them!
From run and gun with surface irons, to dropping deep with yoyo and even sinking out surface irons, to even dabbling with my new speed jigging set up and resulting in success!
