I agree with you Dunk and Joong have great chemistry together. I wish they would get better series this to me is not much better than Star in my mind. They added 2 episodes on as this was supposed to be only 10 eps. There are 2 big inconsistencies that came out of nowhere 1/the Mom seemed great when she visited Zo in Bangkok. She was really chill didn’t say anything about Zo’s school or debate comps then does a 180 and is now Mom from hell heaping tons of pressure on Zo to win. Weird it would make more sense to have the Dad be that way as we hadn’t met him already. 2/ 3month vacay. Zo was supposed to go home for 3 months and that turned into 3 days? Also when Zo and Joke go back to Bangkok technically they are on school break so the next scene is start of semester did they do a 3 month time skip? What did they do for 3 months? Anyway maybe instead of this whole Mom conflict thing in the last 2 eps they could have fleshed out Jeng and Pok story. The conflict as well between Trin and Wave should have been introduced a lot earlier than right near the end. They have been wandering through a few scenes up to now with nothing to do. Oh well big sigh ,this could have been so much better. Great reaction I agreed with everything you said about this series. Hope these last 2 episodes are better to close it out❤

Been thinking about it these past few days, and I think fundamentally where this show went wrong, was them showing their cards too fast by letting the actual story play out to quick. By ep3 Zo started to realise his feelings for Joke during "the date" in library, in ep 4 they kissed for the first time, in ep5 Zo accepts Joke to hit on him and in ep6 he finally abandons the idea of Nita. - So essentially they played out the whole premis of the show (the hidden agenda) by the half mark. And since then they've just been adding pointless plot issues, without any real connection to the story, to fill out the time. Which is very unsatisfying to watch. But this episode actually gave us something to work with, a plot line to continue, it's the set up for the penultium episode where I predict everything falls to pieces (as it always does). The plot point of Zo's mom and the pressure she puts on him is interesting, but again it feels a little dis-connected, because when we first met her, she was ssweet, lovely, funny and open. I wish we would have gotten a hint during that episode, that something in their relationship wasn't right. I'm now guessing that she's also the reason why he's pushing in the extra courses to finish early, but again they haven't really shared any of that with us - so we just sort of figured him as a high achiever. I always thought/assumed that Joke's parents aren't around because they're rich working buisness people. And so they basically left their son to stay with grandma. And that's why Joke cares more about his granma's acceptence of Zo, because essentially she has been the one raising him, she's been the real parent figure. But I could be wrong about that. The thing with Jeng taking the parents out confuses me?! I'm thinking it isn't the Jeng we know, but that coincidentally his brother's name is also Jeng? But it seems odd/stupid that the writers would use the same name without reason?
