12:01 he knows. That’s why he knew which buttons to push to use Ray to get back at Top. He knew Ray would be more than willing to ”help”. He even noticed Top was jealous of Ray. Mew notices things, doesn’t bring it up until it can be beneficial for him to use his knowledge for good or bad. Those who want to say he’s a perfect and innocent character in this show clearly didn’t watch it properly or understood Mew’s character. I mean, did you see him on the series’ poster with his fingers crossed 🤞. There was more to his character than meets the eye.

Ah man, I'm binge-watching all your OF reactions ^^ I miss the show so much. And your reactions are so fun to watch, similar to my thoughts when I watched it so it's very nice to see, so many had different thoughts about characters and routed for people I just didn't trust etc so it's nice seeing someone with similar thoughts.

Really should watch after credit scenes thought you were aware after you missed Nick watching the bouncy car scene. Also bugging someone’s car is a big deal it’s an actionable offence ie. criminal so it makes Nick really questionable just as bad as Boston taking pics/video of Mew and Ray.

Personally I am not a major fan of Nick and agree when he said he's not been the best because he did go through Boston's phone on multiple occasions without his consent, literally did sexual stuff to a photo on his customer's phone, snooped through Boston's belongings, bugged his car and also recorded people having sex without their consent which is severely illegal. Like I think Nick is a sweet guy but he has done quite a lot of messed up stuff. Like Boston has been bad to Nick and I am not excusing that but it doesn't excuse any of Nick's actions imo.

I just find it ironic that in realtiy it's Mark, who plays Nick, who's older than Neo, who plays Boston. Only 3 years so in my brain still pretty much the same age but still funny how these roles can put such things "sideways" =) Also I realized I seem to think of Mr Drake as older as he is, whe he too , is barley a 2000s Kid and just turned 23. I really wonder if it depends on the shows whe see them the first times in...

to be fair to mew, 2 years is a long time so he probably assumed ray has moved on from him by then. ive had crushes on friends of mine and got over it when i realised it wasn’t going to go anywhere.

I love Nick, but he has no ground to stand on here. He and Boston are not exclusive, it's none of Nick's business if Boston sleeps with Top or not. But Nick's out here bugging his car, breaking into his phone, setting up a meeting with Top (with the intent to blackmail him?). That is unhinged behavior! And I repeat, Boston is not even his boyfriend.

Top is proably one of the worst kind of arsewholes because usually he isn't necessarily wrong too. :D Like damn why don't I like this man and why does he simtuantuely make the most sense among all of them?

I definitely agree about Mew being quite insensitive toward Ray considering he knows how Ray feels about him. there were so many moments in the first 3 eps where we all felt bad for Ray and wondered how clueless Mew could possibly be to not see how Ray was feeling, but turns out he knew all along! he probably ignored it because he didn't /want/ them to still be there, or like if he never brought it up or acknowledged Ray's feelings then they would go away. it's sort of an ongoing thing with Ray though, people being really insensitive to him - I mean, how many times did people call him a burden in ep 1 alone? his friends included, with Mew present who literally heard Ray talking about how he wanted to k*ll himself so he could stop being a burden to people... yikes. I have a slightly different take on Boston though. using that video/photo the way he did with Top was absolutely disgusting, yes, but I don't think he actually took it with the intent of it ever being future blackmail or anything like that - he probably just thought his friends were being drunk and stupid and that this could be something to jokingly tease them about later, but then considering it ended kinda awkwardly he never ended up using it for anything and probably didn't think twice about still having it on his phone. at the end of ep 2 (I think it was then?) we saw Boston looking at a picture of Ray and Mew he'd taken earlier that day, and it was as if that picture was what reminded him of even having that footage in the first place, so it's not like he's been going around waiting to use it. not saying this makes him a good person or anything, just makes him a bit greyer than if he did take it with bad intentions and I think that fits the show more - all of these characters are flawed, some more than others, but none of them are downright bad, at least in my opinion (and I dislike quite a few of these characters haha)

Okey, so I believe Top. I think he's sincere when he says he wants more than sex from Mew and that he genuinly want to change his past behavior (which Beam confirmed at the silent disco, saying Top never calls or go out anymore). My whole take is that by pursuing a guy like Mew, Top has let his guard down maybe for the first time, opened up about himself, shared his childhood trauma, and so now he feels vulnerable. And that's why he slept with Boston, because he succeeded in manipulating the narrative of the video and so Top felt deceived by Mew. But the next day he regretted it, and realised that even if Mew and Ray did it once, he still liked Mew and wanted to pursue something real with him. I have a feeling we're being lured into a false sense of security by Mark's lovely smile, but Nick calling him self "nasty" should be a red flag for all of us. Actually a lot of his behavior this far has been questionable: Violating Bostons privacy to use his phone for "inspiration", bugging his car and taping the audio without consent + playing it for Sand (which isn't just nasty, it's illegal), and also going through his phone - which probably means he mirrored the password or something. He seems a little unhinged. I was so happy to see a BL finally calling out the non consensual kissing people in their sleep BS. But at the same time, I am a little dissapointed that they ended up with Mew letting Ray of the hook about it by saying "forget about it" - instead of actually talking about how invasive it is, how it makes you feel unsafe with your friend, the potential assault accusation Mew could have made etc. It was such a perfect set up for an actual educational conversation, but for me they kinda dropped the ball on it, as if they didn't actually dare to go all the way.

i really love your reaction, but why do you hate boston at this point of the series so much? you totally can, and i am happy to hear your opinion on everyone, i‘m just wondering. it was really shady of him to record the kiss between ray and mew. it was totally shitty of him to sleep with top, after he knew that his friend likes him, AFTER he introduced top to mew. he knows they are kind of together. that‘s a really bad thing to do to your friend. but with nick, he was mostly honest. only when he said that he doesn‘t like top he was lying, but he doesn‘t have to admit that to nick. yes, he manipulates him to stay with him when he notices that nick gets angry or sad about their „relationship“, but he is never lying to him, only giving him „false“ hope. he always said that he doesn‘t want a serious relationship and that he only sleeps around. and he is not wrong for that. i know, the whole fandom is shaming him for that, but it shouldn‘t be like that. he is not a bad person for sleeping around. and nick loves him. he thinks maybe he can change him. how can he end it when he has feelings for him and is hopeful that it will get better? he may be better without him, we can say that easily as viewers, but why shouldn‘t he try to be happy with him? i understand him. and yes, all the other comments already said that nick did a lot of worse things to boston, than boston did to him. he didn‘t do it with a bad intent, but it was still wrong. i do still really love nick and will defend him :D for me top at this point is much worse than boston, he cheated on mew and he slept with him as a reward for not taking drugs.. why would you accept that someone only sleeps with you to stop you from taking drugs,if you love this person? sand and ray are so cute together and ray broke my heart in the beginning. and i was so happy that this series handled the kiss scene with the sleeping mew so good and made ray apologize in that way. like i said, i love to hear your opinions even if they are different from mine, that‘s what makes this a really good show, everyone feels kind of different about most things! i can‘t wait for the next episode, it‘s one of my favorites.

I feel like you answered all the reasons why she probably doesn't like Boston. He was a jerk for recording Ray and Mew and being so weird about it. He was a terrible friend for sleeping with the person he supposably best friend is seeing. And with Nick, he is giving him false hope and just generally not very nice to him. I'm not sure why people act like Boston is being honest with Nick, he's not. He is using Nick's insecurities to keep him around, playing into what Nick wants because he knows it will keep Nick around. That's a shitty thing to do. No one (but the characters really) dislike Boston's sleeping around. Who cares if he sleeps around. But that doesn't mean he should be sleeping with the people his friends are dating or treating his hook-ups terribly. You can sleep around and still be nice to the people you sleep with. I personally kinda like Boston, I think he's a great character, just not a great person. But there is definitely reasons for people to hate him or think he's a pretty terrible person.

@@eah4452 I wouldn't say Nick was "manipulating" Boston in either of those scenes with the conversation. Nick doesn't use those conversations to get anything from Boston. He does bug Boston's car when he's "distracted", but the conversation itself wasn't used to distract Boston. Also, with the phone, he uses the 'selfie' to distract Boston, not the conversation about their 'relationship', which Boston is the one who brings that up. If their relationship status was something only brought up during these times, I'd agree, but they aren't. I also in general wouldn't use either of those as examples of 'manipulation'. It's invasion of privacy. Nick isn't manipulating Boston into or with anything, he's being a creep and sneaky. Totally different things.
