It's 2023 and I still miss Jenny
The way Peter handled that line of questioning from Theo was quite revealing. That guy would be difficult to work with. Seems obtuse and passive aggressive.
Theo's children should get a job lol
The price point has been my problem too. I’ve wanted one of these vests for years since I saw them demonstrated at a motorcycle event back around 2016 in the USA. At the time they were $900-$1200. FAR cheaper than medical bills and emotional trauma, but unfortunately also far more than I can afford out of pocket. A payment plan option would have made me a customer.
im jenny's window cleaner and she's out
Safety is never affordable.
Never understand why fanchisees are allowed on this show... it's not their idea, and it's not their product... weird...
Lucky the daughter was there... She was invaluable
Comparing the cyclist market with the equestrian market was madness. £650 is nothing compared with the costs associate with a buying, owning and caring for a horse. I paid £100 for my bike, £30 for a helmet, £5 for lights and one time £70 for a new wheel. All together still a third the cost of one of these. Touker was spot on here
I love The Dragons Den but Evan Davis's AWFUL puns make me face palm
Why on earth is it that expensive
I wish I had this on last week when I stacked it on some coping straight on my ribs and I broke one 😂
Only a small percentage of cyclists would go for this even if the price wasn't so high...the last thing performance cyclists would do is spend a fortune on lightweight aerodynamic bikes and kit and then wear a bulky, heavy vest. Commuters maybe...
Cyclist here, MTN & BMX. I would never use or buy a product like this at that price point. I've had my fair share of bad wipeouts too & my helmet wasn't a cheap one either. I'm doing just fine without an airbag vest.
This is a must for motorcyclists and cyclists but the problem is its the cost so to high and not everyone can afford one so the market is still to small. It’s unfortunate
Wow, Tej really seemed angry.
Not much will save you on a cycle, tarmac has a tendency to shred everything that comes in contact with it. Even helmets have been ground down to nothing and people didn't survive. Concrete is even less forgiving which is why I can never understand anyone wanting to go without leathers or a helmet. At least you have a chance of surviving fatal road rash.
600-700 pounds is cheap insurance.
Plastic sheet separating them in the lift. Absolutely ridiculous.
£650 for a vest. 🤨
