That "you still have to do everything despite being pregnant" story made me furious. My sister had a rough pregnancy. Especially near the end. She had to go on maternity leave earlier than she planned because of hard her pregnancy was getting. Her husband would go to work (full time paramedic) and then come home and cook and clean because my sister couldn't. My sister didn't have to ask him to do any of this. He just did it. And just for anyone curious, once the kid was out and my sister recovered, the division of chores and cooking returned to being split between the two in a way that both of them agree on.

Your sister had a rough pregnancy though, you obviously have a bias but OP memtioned nothing to indicate they were having a tougher pregnancy than usual, they’re just lazy

Wow you're such a good person. World needs more understanding people. We can only wish for that unfortunately, and do our parts.

Story 1 is why people should STRIVE to make sure their husband or wife is a worthwhile person before having kids with them.

omg i get so excited when i see you've uploaded! : ) s1&2 for me would be immediate divorce attorney. i can't even pretend that i would try marital counseling. i have zero tolerance for misogyny and for parentifying/controlling kids/young adults in the family. that being said, the couples could try marital counseling, and i would hope that it would work. for me it wouldn't, b/c i'm part of many marginalized communities. but let's hope those couples get into therapy. especially before the first OP gets further in her pregnancy. yikes.

Oh, I have a story. (Tw mentions of self harm and suicide.) AITA for yelling at my mom and telling her im not her or her brother? I’m a kid, (11-14 not comfortable sharing) and I’ve been self harming since I was nine. I told a counselor last year, and my parents reacted okay. I didn’t want to show my mom, (I live with my dad) and she was upset about that. Her brother committed suicide when she was 8, and she self harmed for a while. She’s not the best parent, vents to me and moved out of state when I was five, came back when I was eight. She made it about her the first time, she acted like she was such a good parent and she doesn’t want me to end up like her or her brother, she started to vent about him and I screamed and told her im not him.and at the start of this school year (maybe October?) a friend of mine told a counselor I was self harming. I went to my mom’s and she didn’t talk about it. Until she was mad at me. She yelled at me and I laughed at her, after her saying she would call the cops and get me mental health arrested, she then says “Well, go cut yourself some more if you’re so angry with the world!” I walked out of her room and begged my dad to pick me up. My dad isn’t the kindest either, he’s manipulative and stuff but I try not to listen to the mean jokes or things he does, because I know he is trying to be different. I feel bad for getting upset for it. My dad got cps called on him after beating me with a wood spoon to the point it broke and bruised me, he also took my door and trashed my room looking for what I self harmed with. I stayed with my mom and he made me feel bad about it. So, im not really in the best situation and I’ve went pretty off track, im sorry, the only thing that makes me happy is theater and my friends and im so burnt out. Do you have any advice on this situation and was it me being an a-hole telling my mom that, knowing it would hurt her?

the dad who cancelled his son's applications wants his older son to be a slave. that's literally what he wants. he wants aiden to give up his life entirely and work for the rest of his existence taking care of their disabled child, and to do it against his will. op needs to rethink her relationship with her husband, since he's a selfish and, yes, abusive ahole. this kind of control and manipulation is abusive. they need to work with the state and get on whatever waitlists they need to for government support.

Dude. Please mark your compilation videos. You keep talking about having ADHD, but my ADHD literally made my brain go 🎉 when it realised that it heard these stories and that the voice telling them is the same. Not cool.

Pregnancy isn't a disability 🙄 unless you are seriously ill during your pregnancy then fine but to refuse to do any thing because you're pregnant is crazy. He goes to work and you sit around all day?... No
