Story 1: I feel like OP is leaving out why the son wants nothing to do with the step mom. Even if not, he had a mother. She’s not a replacement for his mother and it’s a little narcissistic to assume it’s malicious

If you're arguing with your partner, do not call them manipulative or abusive. Often times you're wrong and just trying to insult them or ironically try to manipulate them into backing down, and it's also just not a cool thing to say. That's your partner, the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Don't try to make them feel like they're horrible to you.

Story #3... Yet again very selfish parents....that other couple is not family....but your own parents don't value you or your sister much.....shame!

Stupidest thing I have done: so one day (I was about 10 or 11) I went round my cousins house and they suggested that I try and pull an night with no sleep. I get until 6 am and fall asleep to be woken up at 8 am. The same day i was due to go on the motorbike with my dad. Yeah I bet you can see how this is going. So I fell asleep while I was on the motorbike luckily I didn't break anything but it was a scary experience and I am still not allowed to go on the motorbike until next summer. 14 and still haven't had an all nighter bc of this. Tldr: fell asleep on a motorbike

There is a such thing as emotional cheating not just physical and a lot of times people cheat emotionally due too trauma as a coping mechanism. So yes absolutely leave stay single for awhile and if you still feel that way THEN maybe act on it but definitely give it time and go slow

Polygamy is very often, when (let’s say a man has 2 wives) both the wives aren’t in a relationship themselves and it’s just the man, but as a polyamorous person, I think you’re right 😂

I usually really enjoy your empathy mist Facts, but the story about Beth being overweight just makes me feel like she guilttrips a lot. Like when she apparently complains about being abandoned. I've been overweight and you have to be well aware and okay with the fact that you may limit other people. Beth seems like she doesn't like the way she looks and is externalizing the issue.

The dumbass committed a crime by driving on probation. He slept with a co-worker and threatened another with his position to keep them from talking about it and owned guns despite it being illegal to have them due to being an ex-con. The motive being revenge doesn't make this any less deserved. He made his own bed, and this would've happened if he were ever randomly pulled over, or his boss caught him with darla. It'd be more messed up if he did all of that and got off scott-free. Even if you ignore the cheating.
