I don’t think Zayto got demoted. I think ppl overreacted.

A few notes/observations I want to share: 1) This Season was originally going to be around 20 episodes, but it was shortened to 10 Episodes. 2) Episode 1 of Cosmic Fury takes place right after the events of the final Episode of Dino Fury. Also, the Once And Always short film from earlier this year takes place before the events of this Season. 3) There's a fan theory that Billy was making the Turbo Ranger Powers & Zords back at the end of Zeo, but his advanced aging prevented him from finishing them, so Zordon finished making them at the beginning of the Turbo movie. Well, Billy made the Cosmic Fury powers using the remaining energy from the Morphin Master Staff & thr Dino Fury keys, which helps confirm that Turbo powers theory. 4) Much like how back in Dino Charge Kendall didn't start wearing purple until she became a Ranger, Fern didn't start wearing orange until Cosmic Fury. 5) In the Sentai Dino Charge was based on there was an evil Ranger in it for 1 episode, & when Dino Charge was airing a lot of fans wanted Heckyl to become that Ranger but it never happened. Later in the Power Ranger comic series, Heckyl's character & story developed more when he became the Dark Ranger. I guess the creators of Cosmic Fury decided to officially make Heckyl the Dark Ranger as a way to please the fans. 6) Much like how the Mighty Morphin team never actually destroyed Zedd, the Cosmic Fury team didn't either, which I actually find cool to see Power Ranger villains who either get redeemed or at the very least don't get destroyed.

billy making the cosmic powers doesn't confirm he made the turbo ones? also heckyl being the dark ranger was teased from the toy morpher, where people found out that there was a "talon ranger" sound. they weren't able to get the movie rights (where heckyl's suit comes from) so they had to get rid of that idea

Also there was originally no intention of using the kyuranger mecha and just have the dino fury zords with upgraded armour and what not that's why the cosmic fury suits look like that(also noticeable with zayto'sfirst morph since coming back and the team's roll call), the reason why they used the kyuranger mecha is because they thought that people would get bored of dino fury for a third season so they decided " new props new zords "

I agree with you on the criticism of Amelia’s portrayal. Honestly, Zayto, Aiyon, Ollie, Fern and ESPECIALLY her have always been iffy for me. Chance and Tessa kill it though.

Granted, Zedd did get purified at one point, right? So thinking he can be a good guy is not out of the question, hell Rita became a good guy

I get that having the first full season female red ranger is great and fantastic but in general and overall I think Aiyon should’ve been the red ranger. He’s one of the only surviving knights of rafkon and the original Dino fury team and has the most experience in combat out all of them.

Aiyon, Ollie, and fern where definitely the all stars of this season for me. I liked them the most. Now that I’ve sat on it for a while I feel less irritated about the season. I was definitely overreacting in the last video but I thinks it’s because I love Kyurangers and Ryusoulgers ( those are my favorite Sentai seasons). I don’t think I like the season anymore than I did but it wasn’t god awful either. Overall a 4/10. Character development kills it for me. Also Ollie’s evil suit looked so good so I don’t get why everyone else’s suit couldn’t look similar to his. Edit: your spot on about Amelia. I wanted her to have a Jen, Taylor, summer moment but no.

I'm glad that Billy got to play a big role in this season.

Heckyl was definitely, 1000% getting that squidussy ain't no way he wasn't. And I don't think saying Hunter's acting was poor is the same as saying Hotaro has a punchable face as ultimately Hotaro's face isn't going to take away from the show (the bland characters and annoying Chemies on the other hand) whereas whether or not the main character can act definitely will. Cosmic Fury feels like they spent so much time setting up the precedence for story beats that happened down the line for seasons that take place in the future. Examples include normalizing a full time female red ranger and leader, a ranger with cybernetics, an orange ranger a la SPD, normalizing businesses ran by aliens a la SPD, cybernetic animal assistants a la Circuit and RIC, and hammering home how local politics are impacted by the Rangers' battles existing (i.e.: trapping villains instead of killing them in TF and SPD, having a civic repair protocol that involves non-rangers, using media to stay on top of monster attacks, reusing helmets from a prior team (SPD A Squad), Rangers changing colors within the same season (SPD), villains being intergalactic business owners (Broodwing), and sending refugees to New Tech City). They even gave an in story reason why they fought monsters in a quarry, instead of them being due to the Japanese footage. It's very unfortunate that the neo Saban era Kidz Bop-ified the seasons post RPM, but Cosmic Fury did an excellent job bringing back some of that maturity and answering questions the show was too afraid to ask previously.

Who pretty much look like Zentinels without the helmet , robot lookalike same white gray suits , updated for Cosmic Fury Fact 2 : Ah yes , Goldar ( i once remember i had a loyal golden monkey who is spineless and snibling ) Fact 3 : After an eternity stuck with Rita and her annoying voice , he d find it satisfying to shrink her and get rid of her. It was destiny Fact 4 : Lord Zed never went after the command center only once when he charged the green crystal with Tommy s last powers . One day in the future if they want to kill Tommy off , when The Green Ranger was defeated every Green Ranger was affected. That day , Zed made it so that The Command Center was shielded and out of reach probably to stop Lord Drakon from coming there comic books are based from unused scripts and although the comic books where written after the Z wave the script was there ) One day Zed will be so powerful that the only way to stop him is to put him inside a perfect time loop forcing him to relive his failures Fact 5 : You cannot conquer the universe if you dont understand how it works . Zed understand that the Universe has some rules and like it or not he has to abide if he wants to break them. The final fact and should be the first , Lord Zed arrived trough forced teleportation : This can only mean one thing : Lord Zed the true emperor of Evil has returned . Lord Zed s power is unmatched by everything we seen before , that includes the Machine Empire . For almost everything Zordon had a back up plan but against Zed , new Zords where required and it didnt take . Rito was made giant and it was the first scene Zed and Rita made Rito grow while other monsters required grenades or even Rit a s staff only. This is the first time and my first vid on your channel

Honestly I had fun. I’ve been waiting for this and I took my time with it and that let me enjoy Cosmic Fury without having it feel rushed. I heard nothing about a controversy and if I didn’t I’ll just say Nonetroversy because it’s nonsense whatever it is. I don’t want to hear it and I don’t care and it’s probably stupid. Javi being my favorite of the Dino Fury/Cosmic Fury rangers is really solidified now especially in episode one because him sacing his arm like that was zero to one hundred real fast and I was not ready for it. Now the only true thing I wanted was to defeat Zedd and the rangers did kind of so I ain’t mad. It’s just Bujillia ruined it kind of but whatever.

Very late comment but I wish they could've gotten just one full season of great acting. It seems like outside of maybe RPM (which you can debate if you liked some of the performances), there was always at least one weak link in the cast. I know it's a kids show and those typically have pretty meh acting but they have to realize the only people watching at this point are people in their 20s, right? Why not deliver for that crowd in terms of quality acting

10:20 "Making Zedd a good guy ah... would be a massive, massive misfire." You do realize the original Zedd became purified via the Z-Wave becoming human, right? Dino/Cosmic Fury had resurrected his original evil self from before he was hit by the Z-Wave. So just as his original became good, this Zedd can as well.

The difference is the Z-Wave blasted away the evil leaving behind the good. The situation here would have the evil redeeming itself, which would be very VERY out of character

On serious note, idk if it's the acting or the writing, but after I finished watching PRCF, I wrote this in regards of Amelia: "I'm trying so hard to not hate her. But at the same time, I can't even see the PRDF Amelia in her. It feels like someone inserted Zayto into this Amelia so she can be believable as red Ranger." I also complained that this team, especially Amelia, mocked their evilly possessed teammate way too much, as if Ollie is just a regular monster-of-the-week and made me hard to believe they have even slight platonic feeling towards him, unless it was on obvious cue like when Ollie's Squidrill was about exploded. Every time Ollie fought them, I almost always typed, "I really wished you stay evil. Amelia doesn't deserve you 🤣". Speaking of good-evil Ranger, as much as I terribly love Zedd-Ollie relationship, as fan of Heckyl, I still couldn't shake the idea of sacrificing the potentially great face-off between two "evil" blue Rangers to have "disappointed father" moment from Zedd. This version of Dark Ranger feels like the writers inserted the chaotic PRDSC villain-era Heckyl into a haphazardly-stacked (non-)PRDSC props. Perfomance-wise, wildly entertaining and familiar if not underused. Design- and story-wise, distractingly disconnected beyond the helmet issue. Now, I give them giant credit for bringing lots of bold PR ideas that felt like only could happen in fanworks into real screen. But my impression towards this season is it's the only chance for them to bring everything amazing and the kitchen sink, except they broke and left some parts of the kitchen sink to fit it into the last, unfortunately mini-sized, ship. They could leave some lesser stuff behind for... maybe someone else like fans to make into reality and laser-focus on few that they care the most, but nope.

This season is one of the most disappointing ways to end a 30 year legacy. Cosmic Fury is a C- for me.

Conquerors : Trachina , Ransik , Master Org , Lothor ,Messegogg Moltor and Flurious , Master Xandred , The Master of Nothing , Sledge , Madam Odious , Heckle , Void Queen , Vengex/Evox ( a virus cannot be cathegorized as evil as he is reproducing and evolving. Mastermald : A machine can not be mad professor ! that is a human failing ) The Empire of Insects Vrock also conquers

How so? Cause I felt like this season did everything that was right for it, from its high quality writing, the direction was a lot better than the entirety of the Neo Saban era, the characters were a lot more developed and more fun, Izzy and Fern were an adorable couple, and Heckyl finally got to suit up in the Dark Ranger suit after so many years. So I don’t know how you find it not good. Grant it, it’s not perfect, but it’s definitely way better than Kyuranger.
