I wonder if the dynamic between Racles, Gira, and the Space Bug King are in any way inspired by the dynamic between Satsuki, Ryuko, and their mom from Kill La Kill. Ryuko/Gira- Has power inherited from the big bads of the series and believe their sibling is their enemy Satauki/Racles- Has been playing the part of a pawn for a higher evil power to one usurp them and has been making moves to acquire their own power only to be stopped and surpassed by their sibling. Their Mom/Space Bug King-Wish to end the planet for a bigger grander scheme

King-Ohger has been such a wild ride watching every week, it's the first sentai I've actually watched as it airs and I've loved it. Also, Congrats on 5k, you deserve it and your content has been great to watch.

I do like Gira, I think he’s a pretty good Red, the problem is that King-Ohger has such a stacked cast that he is dull in comparison: Jeramie is a fantastic 6th and my personal favourite since Akira, Kaguragi is honestly the most interesting character in all of Sentai, Rita is fantastic, Racles is the goat, Dugded is such a fun antagonist and I was worried how they’d pull off an actual god as an antagonist and I think they’ve pulled it off spectacularly. King-Ohger kinda just peak tbh, best season since Donbrothers Also BIG RACS LETS GO

Same. I like Gira too. I liked him since episode one and I could tell his evil king persona was an act. I think he is very down to earth.

I really liked Gira in episode one. I remember thinking he was so cool, when I posted the reaction to that. He just keeps getting worse over time man. It's kinda sad.

Glad you made this video. As soon as I saw Racules First Duel with Gira I knew he had some sort of alternate plan going. I enjoy every character in King-Ohger so far but the story of Racules by far interested me the most. The extreme majority of the time when I see something built up for so long and have such high expectations, the ending/execution falls flat...but Racules? The exact opposite! I was totally blown away! Everything from the build up to the execution. When Dugded gave him the power to kill immortals, I was on the edge of my seat thinking "It has to be now!" With all the Sentai I watched...I have to agree. Racules is my all time favorite character. Definitely buying the SH Figuarts of him.

The whole reveal of Racules master plan, had me dumbfounded. The fact that he played the villain role so perfectly in the first half, and then he shows his true colors of playing the actual villain was just freaking awesome. And he even takes accountability for his actions. Can you ask for a better character in this show?!

what i like about this reveal is that racles basically did the "im the villain and you're the hero" thing before gira even announced he was gonna do that. When guy realized gira was the answer he went, "nah brother, you suck at acting, here's how it's done." for 2 whole years.

My theory atm is that Racles as a kid asked the big bug King for Gira and the King wanted to endear his future vassal to him, so he made Gira. And it was all a long con to one day get an immortal killing sword by infusing Gira with a sense of justice and love for his people and making Racles be the perfect villain for Gira eventually, so he'd have a reason to ask for the sword from the King.

Racles always has his "red ranger moment" every time in battle.Gira is ok as a leader but his partners like to do their own thing and he is the one that left out. Hopefully Boonboomger's red ranger has more character and more serious during battle like the past "Senpaigers".

Honestly Gira is probably the best set-up for this kid insert type character. Mainly because he is Juru 2.O from the post covid kiramager when they drop the whole leader thing and made a team that don't need a leader. It was show time and time again that Gira is not the bestest ever, he is usually the member of the team that sucks most but he do learn, and he does have a strong core that earned the respect of his teammates. One thing to keep in mind is that all 4 had at least one decade as rulers preparing for the war so no they are powerhouses that can't be sidelined by the super special red boi like most sentais.

personally for the Jeremie weapon part i love it for their puns :x Jeremie's sword actually says Kai-ho or guys go (hence the "release")

The preview for today’s episode, which I’m actually going to be watching tomorrow, actually looks pretty interesting. I can’t wait for the two Hastee Brothers to finally fight together in the final few episodes! Also, what happens to King-Ohger Zero, once Racles joins?

im definitely going to binge watch this series (and this might be my first sentai series) after it ends and a couple of movies/v-cinemas together with geats

I've only recently started watching Sentai weekly. Watched PR when I was a kid and decided to step onto Sentai realm since Zenkaiger. Donbrothers became an absolute fave, but ever since Kingohger's (I think) 10th episode and so on, the latter is becoming my fave.

Racles is quite the character. Most of us started loving to hate him and now he's turned himself around.

i knew it the moment i see some comment say if Racles was a good guy at the end. it my mind i was like if he was a good guy in disguise by being evil so he can do something something. but DAMN he really cool in this episode

i was so mad when they just wipe Racles existance away in the series after those battle, becuase after that Gira just become plain, then the real boss appear and give me a hope that he actualy still alive for this moment to get his redemption, but i didnt expect that he was waiting for this moment in his entire life, thanks god they prove me wrong there.

This twist was very well deserved but the reveal needed more explanation and time to Cook. But very good and fun series right after Don Brother. They just haven't nailed the CGI in sentai yet but they are closer every year.

I love when the zords fully all combine and hate when there are 2-3 megazords standing next to each other... Seems like an unfinished idea.

Can i just say, I've never seen King-Ohger with the TV-Nihon subs, so the way they translate some of the transformation items is weird. Like, the way they translate Jeramie's thing as "Release" when Over-Time just translates it as "Guys Go", aka what it sounds like, is so strange.

i get that gira got messed up a bunch of times, but they specifically meant that he is unkillable, that don't stop him from getting hurt as we still see gira struggling at time but still come out ok at the end of it. especially when we see gira recover immediately after using fangs of defiance faster than everybody else, and they're still suffering from their injuries. Also, if i remember correctly, dethnarok threw him over a cliff and he wasn't even transformed, yet dude got up lol. Maybe this wasn't thought out to mean anything, but i feel like that was a subtle hint that something ain't right about gira.

Gira is great. Love him!

@@ZephyrBW Basically outside his very first scene he is also pulling the evil king routine. But unlike Gira we and the cast actually believed him. Hell his speech when he truly gone mask of was a reflection of gira's words on Racles's first fight against gira.
