Played this at my darling Dads funeral . 1931-2022. He absolutely loved The Good The Bad and The Ugly. Dad had dementia, and I would play this to him he knew what it was straight away. But had no idea who I was. Love you Dad and miss you x

They also played this at my grandfathers funeral. He passed quite suddenly, talking to my aunt afterwords i mentioned one of my fondest memories was the multiple rewatches of this film we shared (old italian guy loved his spaghetti westerns) I couldnt make it to the funeral in time (from australia to europe), but my aunt requested this as the last piece of music played, brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it now but brings me back to the time we shared. Hope it brings you some comfort too..

I saw him perform in Norway last Monday and holy hell... What an evening! I felt the tears and goosebumps through the entire concert. The man is 90 years old and performed for 2.5 hours. A true legend!

Noi italiani non siamo consapevoli della grandezza di questo Maestro che insieme ad altri pochi è degno di rappresentare la cultura millenaria del nostro Paese. My father was a huge fan of Ennio's work, so I learnt from him what an amazing master Ennio was. After my father passed away, I kept listening to Ennio's masterpieces and remember those good times with my dad. So now, his passing strikes quite hard. Farewell Master!

I was at work listening to this. Then my eyes filled with tears, not of sadness or nostalgy, but of epicness. I wasn't ready for this. I kid you not. Ennio Morricone just... rules.

I had the onor to see him performing his general tests here in rome, the day before the concert. There was more people on stage that in the public. I've never cried as much as listening the ecstasy of gold in that occasion. That feel was so intense it need a new adjective to describe it

Ho avuto il grande privilegio di essere presente al concerto di Ennio Morricone a Venezia, grazie al mio amico Gudio. Indimenticabile.

Mi immagino il turista tipo nord europeo che si trova a venezia, con le architetture di piazza san marco illuminate a dovere e il concerto di ennio morricone. Secondo me non prende più l'aereo.

JanasZoro tzè.. hanno anche loro la loro arte ma qui non la conosciamo. Il poco che ho visto di architettura nordeuropea mi ha affascinato

A masterpiece composition by a once in a Millennial composer , conductor, a musical genius and magician!! Thank you sir. Please RIP, your scores /music will live on for eternity.

Inebriante!!! Che mondo sarebbe senza queste melodie!!! Grande Maestro.

Ha disegnato la Musica come solo i grandi compositori dell'Ottocento hanno saputo fare. Ha creato atmosfere, suggestioni uniche, irripetibili, come solo i grandi artisti del Rinascimento (soprattutto Italiano) hanno saputo realizzare. Un Uomo che, scusate se è poco, non se l'è mai tirata... poiché sapeva dentro di sé di essere un musicista di talento. Era umile. Un Maestro in tutti i sensi.

Tanta la sua umiltà quanto la sua grandezza , ogni nota , ogni armonia , fanno subire un evento al corpo facendolo staccare dalla realtà , questa è la Musica Italiana , ed oggi è morta , fortunatamente ci accompagnerà per molti secoli , fortunati noi di aver vissuto in questo secolo per dire io c'ero ! le sua musiche sono magia , magia pura , ogni nota crea un evento in un attimo che ti ruba l'anima traslandola dal corpo , questo miracolo si chiama MORRICONE ENNIO , grazie fortunato di averti conosciuto !

Il più grande in assoluto! Colonne sonore fortemente evocative, straordinarie..lui sarà ricordato nei secoli.

Da "piccolo" addetto ai lavori vorrei segnalare al minuto 02:39 il fill del maestro Vincenzo Restuccia, rilevante figura del drumming italiano, insegnante di batteria e percussioni al Conservatorio di Perugia (purtroppo se n'è andato circa due mesi fa...😪)

magistrale: un tocco perfetto. Se penso che Lars Urich... vabbè, dai, anche lo stesso Maestro Morricone "accettava" tale curioso omaggio dei Metallica. Ma Lars Urich, al confronto di Restuccia, sparisce proprio.

Maestro... non ci sono parole che possano quantificare quello che hai fatto per la musica, per noi... e per aver fatto conoscere nel mondo la parte MIGLIORE dell' Italia ... la tua umiltà, professionalità e amore per la famiglia deve essere di esempio per tante persone che non sanno, neanche, il significato di queste parole.. grazie di cuore... riposa in pace... Maestro.

Togliamolo subito da quel cimitero e da sottoterra e costruiamogli un GRANDE MONUMENTO !! D'altronde per grande che questo possa essere, sarà sempre piccolissimo rispetto alle emozioni che il MAESTRO Morricone ci ha donato in tutti questi anni !!!!!!!
