It's already been 3 years since it came out . When the whole world was suffering from covid , this drama came out . I still remember for 3 months i ignored this drama and kept it on hold to watch later . After 3 months i watched it and till then all episodes were out , for 2 days and half i watched straight and finished this drama . ❤❤ Right now here i am again rewatching this drama . Anyone like me in 2024 rewatching twice ,thrice or fourth times ???

This is an international platform, youku, i hope you will not remove this drama. You cannot deny the hardwork by the team, zzh did a fantastic job. This drama is about redemption but no one is willing to forgive him for wat he did 3 years ago. People grow up and people change over time. I believe what i saw over this period wasnt fake, he is a genuine nice mature man. He apologised for him past mistake but no chance was given. Its ridiculous. Ruining someone is just so easy.

But then again Youku is still under China, which brings me back to my previous point again (if the China government or media decides to remove all of ZZH's works from Mainland China, Youku will have to remove this from KZread as well, unless they want to be kicked out of China)

Nobody in the China media industry will speak for ZZH or support him, because they will be branded as traitors of the country (yeah that's what ZZH has been branded as in China already). ​@Alice Fan don't bother replying this John Chan as he's clearly a hater. I have evidence that all the accusations toward ZZH are fake. The only thing he did was that he took the picture outside of the shrine. I do agree that he should've known what that was. But he didn't go in, let alone paying respect. He did make a mistake, but he doesn't deserve what happened to him.

I just finished WOH and it was such a wonderful experience. The last drama that put me through so many emotions was The Untamed. I'll probably rewatch this drama in the near future, I loved it. I must mention I absolutely fell in love with Zhang Zhehan. His face is a work of art, I couldn't stop looking at him, he is so freaking beautiful. His acting was seriously outstanding as well, he is really talented. I just learned what happened to him and it made me angry and sad, I was looking forward to watching more dramas with him...

I have noticed they like to take down the talented and beautiful ones. After every big BL drama that happens in China, it will be some big Scandal. It happens with Addicted, untamed, and now the world of honor. Those guys were lucky but Zhang Zhehan was not, it almost feel like someone was out to get him.

第N刷。好作品自在人心，时间和口碑证明山河令是传世之作。武打行云流水，剧情缜密，台词美且有深意，人物情感传达也将东方人内敛的情感表达的恰到好处，有收有放。没学点中国文化还不容易马上理解台词的深意。这是中华古典文化输出的绝佳之作。张哲瀚和龚俊都是敬业的好演员，演员们敬业不扎戏、四个月时间一心扑在剧组，用心沉浸到角色、以情感加演技演绎，从编剧到导演和工作组集体用心成就了好作品。这样的良心制作不是单独某一个人完成的，是一群人用心努力的成果！作品超越了耽改小圈，超越了许多古装剧作。耽改本是小圈，这部作品却让这个小圈文化再一次大大出圈。是幸，也是不幸。幸运的海外照常上映；而不幸，我暂时只能交给时间。。

For the record, I'm still on this mountain more than a year after first discovering this drama, I'm now rewatching it for the third time and I still can't get over how good everything is. Thank you so much, Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun and the entire crew. Thank you Youku for keeping it online at least here. Looking forward to the day it gets proper recognition and anniversary events in China again.

I am really sorry to tell you, but China will not give zzh another chance to appear on screen anymore :(( but as fans, now we should only hope that he is fine and is free to do things that he wants to without being judged!

I Cry whenever i see Xiaozhe's former glory.. when i recall and reminisce the times when i was so excited to see this new drama.. the Joy when i was watching the concert and the heartbreak at what comes after they spread false news against him.. still waiting for justice ⚖️ to come.. i will wait till then..

I still hold on to hope that he was allow to speak out. Because the studio did him dirty in the apologize post. It did not clear any fault info( the nazi, the lady husband is not chinese killer, the pro-jap). And the fishy hot search of Weibo that allow fault scandal(nazi,lady's husband) to run for days. The main media that intentionally said he went to "pray". Now there were rumores of more people effect by this scandal. Like losing job and kids got lesson about him in class. Chinese people will notice eventually that the punishment was overreacted and organized by group of power. Its now already spot that some main Medias had edit their post about him *praying* to just visiting. As a int-fan i just wait its all i can.

He's not coming back.He touched on the issue of nationality.He was never to be forgiven for approaching our enemies as a public figure.He lost a bottom line as a Chinese.You're an international fan of his. Of course you don't understand why.But I want to tell you that Zhang Zhehan is trampling on the national bottom line.He just has a pretty face, that's all. There's no shortage of such people.

I had to come back here to say it would be wrong and unfair of Youku to take this show down just because of Zhang Zhehan. Even though he did something insensitive, I don't think he meant to be deliberate about it. How can anyone watch this show about two men finding redemption and love in each other, but completely shun the actor for something he did 3 years ago? Just because he's massively popular now doesn't give anyone the right to dig into his past, invade his privacy, and destroy his career in one fell swoop.

agreed, i get that its a sensitive topic but to go as far as this is a bit much. especially when i heard another actor had done something far worst and was able to wait for it to blow over, I hope that this accident can blow over soon if he just lay low for now.

Word of Honor is the one of the best Wuxia dramas I have watched in recent years. WenKeXing is my favorite character and Gong Jun portrayed the role so well! His first appearance as the chillingly ruthless Leader of the Ghost Valley in episode 1 was so cool!

@@anniexena some anti-fan dug out that in 2018 he took photos outside Yasukuni temple the place where Japanese memorialize their "hero" (but listed 712 war criminals during world war 2) the backlash to ZZH is quite severe, that all sponsors cancel his contracts, even new drama series supposedly starring ZZH is changed, all the digital footprint has also been deleted, he can never make a comeback in China as an actor I think.

Youku, please don't delete this drama!!!! Word of Honor is a story of redemption, Where one may commit hideous crimes can still receive compassion. Yet, real life is more cruel than is written, One's past can never be forgiven. Unintentional or unaware, The world does not care(((((
