Time stamp 8:00. The poem cited by Wen Kexing 但渡无所苦，我自迎接汝 has a story behind it. The poem was written by a famous Chinese calligrapher Wang Xianzhi and he dedicated this poem to his lover Taoye. It was said in Eastern Jin dynasty, Huai River was vast and became a torrent in Taoyedu (a ferry place named after Taoye). If the wind or wave was strong, the ferry might capsize. Taoye became worried every time she took the ferry, so Wang Xianzi wrote this poem to comfor her :) The whole poem basically means Taoye you can ferry across the river without using paddle (because of the torrent). Do not worry when corssing the river, I will be waiting for you by the river.

I cannot believe what I was seeing and reading on social media n KZread all abt Zhang Zhehan not being able to act no more😭😭😭 I firmly believed that he isn't a bad person nor is sided with the Japanese. Please YOUKU , please don’t remove this beautiful Masterpiece that is love by millions of people around the world, please at least not here on KZread an international platform . This series brought so much joy to me, my whole family and to a lots of my older friends and their family. I had watched so many Chinese series but WOH is the only series that makes me rewatch 4 times and still enjoying it. A masterpiece like this deserves its recognition and should be show off to people around the world instead of putting it on shelf to collecting dust.

5:47 after watching the series again I came to realise why he said Ah Xu is a variable, no wonder he started following him, he wants to watch Ah Xu's every move and decisions. It might have started as fun and curiosity but then along the way of their adventure the bond kicks in, and this variable did something to him in a good way 😊 I won't tell why his a variable so the fun of watching this series won't be spoiled.

When Wen Ke Xing told her to "act like a human", that was what he actually means. He raised her in Ghost Valley and (this episode) is the first time she had ever enter the "human world" outside Ghost Valley. Yes, she had no idea how humans would behave and tried her best to act "like them".

I personally loved the scene at 15:55 where Zishu gets escorted to a woodshed for his stay at the Mirror Lakes sect. He acts all indignant with the guard before basically saying, oh dude I'm just messing with you, a woodshed is fine.😂 At this point as part of his self punishment, he was embracing that hobo lifestyle.

When I was reading the novel, this was exactly what I was envisioning. Kudos to the team for choosing the right actors, the script was on point, though there were some scenes that were slightly changed, but I think it's for the good of the whole show. Thank you, too, for sticking to the novel :) It's one of favorite Priest's works. I am so looking forward to the next episodes ^^
