The only weak link in that team now is Kane. He's a rubbish stat merchant of a player. Doesn't carry the ball with pace. Can't beat a man. Doesn't run in behind. The teams with Mbappe's and Vini's are the most dangerous. We should have utilized Vardy in his prime and now we should be using Gordon. Kane is just a text-book FA player - boring, slow, does as he's told, good media skills, keeps quiet - which is why they never win anything.

​@@kevt5251 clueless, you think that having a great performance in a continental international competition wouldn't equate to more money for a player in the long run ? Players get signed and contracts renewed based on international performances, you've just said it's about the money, I don't agree but assuming it is, what better way to earn a new move or get a new contract than having a great performance at the EUROs.

so England doesn't deserve to win the Euros based on a framework drawn up by a handful of people in a business meeting back in 1992 ? It's not like there isn't continuous opposition to how the English game has become within England it's self. Most English football fans don't like what's happened to our game but we support our teams nonetheless.

When England looses, football wins.

@@u.p.1038 @u.p.1038 yep, like I said, In England we also don't largely agree with the 'marketing machine' that out cultural heritages have become part of. Perhaps bring from England I just don't have the minerals required to be a 'real football fan' because my club is owned by a Thai billionaire because of a framework drawn up by a small group of businesses executives ,who extracts my club for every penny it's got, while not investing anything and charging extortionate ticket fees we still reluctantly pay because we support our team though the good times and the bad. I guarantee i have to pay a lot more of my hard earned wages than you do that to watch my team mostly lose because we never invest anything but apparently I'm not a real football fan so what does my opinion matter ? 🙃 You obviously don't understand English football culture at all aha
