Any test match is incredible to watch at Lords.... Quality, class crowd with formal suits n ties, standing ovations, fantastic video coverage and typical British accent commentary. Beautiful moments like 6 slip fielders, 17 wickets fell on day 1, this is the reason why I love test cricket and particularly in Lords....Simply cut above the rest....!

Now this was the moment that pulled it back for England...otherwise target could have been a 350 odd

It's just ashame that this hattrick doesn't go down as broad's hattrick but it goes down as a england team hattrick. This is because the second wicket was a run out and run outs don't go on the bowlers figures. If it was bowled, caught, lbw, or stumped it would have been broad's hattrick. Saying that though, I'm surprised that the umpire review didn't check the lbw shout as well as it might have been lbw and not run out if lbw had happened.

@@lukeboulding4971 , the LBW is an interesting situation because England would have had to ask for a review of that themselves, whereas it was an umpire review for the run out. If the run out review had showed that he was safe then England would probably not have been able to review the LBW as time would have expired. If replays had showed that he should have been out then that would have been a controversial moment. That's something that the rules of DRS ought to address.

That was so beautiful man, as if broad got energy from whole crowd. ♥️ That was some 5th dimensional connection.

Undoubtedly the moment of the match..

Good talented bowler but surely not in the league of the greats.. what are his stats in subcontinent or outside england .. let there be a match tomorrow in any Indian stadium and see their performance drop !! Even pandya and Stuart binny has 5 wicket haul in England.. look at ishant sharma's stats in England.. Waqar, wasim akram, steyn, imran khan they were greats .. irrespective of the venue they performed everywhere!!

As an Australian, I'm still baffled why Broad and Anderson were sidelined for much of the Ashes 2021-22 and then dropped entirely for the Caribbean. Broad has the knack of getting under Aussie skins (must be the ungainly action and the headband thing) and Anderson is unplayable in the right conditions and still handy elsewhere. Thank you to the England selectors, on behalf of Australian supporters, for the generosity in holding back your two best bowlers to guarantee a thumping series win.

The actual comparison can be made as Steyn is R9 who only god knew that how many records he would have broke if had stayed FIT absolute phenomena when it comes to natural talent and Prime years in the game AND Anderson is CR7 who past his wickets tally cause of his longevity, hardworking towards fitness and the unimaginable skills of Swing Both are kind of different players but at the end of the day both are 🐐s
