I unknowingly did all this in early labor, that deep squat i did a alot and didn't know i was helping my baby out(4th) it was just relieving in that position I ended up in the bathroom on the toilet b/c i thought i needed to poop 😅 and started pushing her on my knees in the bathroom lol Had her at home b/c birth was mega faster then all my other births!! Unknowingly did all this, just went with how my body was leading me to be most comfortable

@betterusnow I didn't have a midwife. My partnered delivered for me. I knee it was time for the baby cone after having severe contractions. I'm 116lbs and. My baby was probably around 6 lbs when she was born. But tbh we didn't have any sort of medical supplies. When I felt the contractions I ran warm water. Make sure that water stays warm! And make sure that when that baby comes out of the water make sure he or she doesn't go back in. U wanna make sure that bath tub is full to at least your stomach area

Your doing such good job 👍👍👍 for me its to late 😉 had both my babys with c section. My 1st didn't come down in the canal. I was fully dialated. I had to stay kn my back with this strip/ band ? On my belly to monitor the baby. After 24 hours of labor i was exhausted. 😢 So after pushing for like a long time i gave in. It really didn't work. And they did a c section. A doula is great i think. My midwife eas not allowed in the hospital to stay with me. That gave me so much stress! It wasnt planned to labor in hospital. Nowadays doula's are more normal and i hope allowed in most hospitals. They are a cery good vocal cord especially ehen your husband is not so talkative ..

Is there a modification that can be done to the deep squat for women who have SPD? I’m trying to get my baby to move further down so I can dilate more and hopefully go into labor but I’m so limited in my movements. I’m also worried about how limited I will be during early/active labor as well and it’s so frustrating because I don’t want to long hard labor or to end up with a C-section!
