Is this one for grown ups or for regular people? The ones I consider for grown ups are usually considered boring by most people, like: Nirvana in Fire Nirvana in Fire 2 The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty Secret of Three Kingdoms Jun Jiu Ling A Dream of Splendor Shows for regular people but still quite good quality, even grown ups can enjoy but don't require too much attention to detail like the 'boring' ones above which I really love and prefer: DouLuo Continent Legend of Yunxi Who Rules the World Love Like The Galaxy Luoyang The rest of the shows are either comedies or they are written for teenagers and the stories are not that good. They are also quite popular with the youth. How do you rate this show?

Epic everything about this series is just epic, my goddess dilraba and the equally heavenly Binbin are just born for their roles here. It's such a beautiful perfect flawless storytelling, the ending even if heartbreaking is just magnificent. The best series for me! Nothing compares

Zhang bin bin is one of my favorite Chinese actor. With such intense acting capability, he was cast in side role in so many dramas, I still wondering why??.. But still in side roles his brilliant acting and fierce aura was able to touch me..... way to go Bin Bin.... Jiayou! from this international fan of yours. 😊

The moment this drama begins, my heart already becomes somewhat saddened just by hearing the sound track. It heralds a sign of tragedy, and each time I hear it my heart aches a little. There is something a little eerie and ominous about it. The music is perfect for this drama… it is brilliantly composed. Dare I call this an ‘epic’ production? For me it is precisely that, an ‘epic’. I love it with a passion. It is extraordinary! I am watching ‘The King’s Woman’ for the fourth time, and each time I peruse it, I discover something new that I missed out during my previous watchings. It is one of my top few dramas of all time with everything being perfect in my eyes. Greetings from a Polish Australian!

I’m here to rewatch for the nth time. This couple is total sizzle and love. Their interactions make my heart pound harder and faster. ML and FL are really gorgeous and also, magnificent actor and actress. Love this super intense drama. C’est magnifique.

I'm re-watching this story so I can cry again. After I watched it the first time and learning about the first emperor of China, I genuinely wept bitterly for the man. What an agonizing lonely life he led, that dehumanized him! But he loved his people (even cruelly so though), put his country first and he indeed built a great nation with great policies til date. A leader I admire and feel great sadness for, for both him and his victims and just...tragic how the throne is legit a deathrow

After watching Pretty Li hui Zhen for second time I'm here to watch the king's woman for third time. My first time watching the king's woman I was not happy with any of her decisions from sleeping with her childhood friend to dragging brother senior to dead. Oh well, I got over it. Have watched every one of her dramas. Absolutely adore this woman and her capabilities. I can't wait to see her along with Gong jun..How much longer for one of her new work to be released. ❤❤❤

👀🤔 Okay...Dilraba is pretty, the same as many women, regardless of race or nationality. Beauty is not reserved for only some people of a certain race. Women know that you are beautiful even if you do not need or have a makeup staff to bring out the innate beauty that lives in you. If beauty is everything, I wish it would start solving the world's very serious issues.

One of the very best of historical Chinese drama. Watching the second time after a long time.

@graysbygrace Jin Ke is the 2nd male lead and don't skip his scenes. He matures alot emotionally and becomes a premier fighter. The actor is a good dramatic actor so you really get to understand his character.

Watching this for the first time and I'm stucked 💯🫶any drama dilraba is in,, i know it will be epic ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is my personal opinion after done watching it: You do need to know that this is a tragedy genre. If you watch lots of serious historical piece likes Six Flying Dragons, Queen Seon Deok you know that this is not the era of happy crampers. Zhang Bin Bin as Yin Zheng (King): If you can accept ruthless, scheming male lead then that is. I tried to like Yin Zheng, but it's too difficult. So I don't really care him end up alone, cause it's all his own doing. Kudos to this actor that makes me hates the character, but not the actor. I'm the audience that not easy to be convinced as I was very picky. To be honest, this is my first time watching ZBB acting, as I rarely watching C-Drama. I will watch him again in another drama perhaps in different genre to see another layer of acting style. Modern one, huksshi? Likeable character (actor): Han Shen. He was the only one most honorable male character here without any ulterior motives. I like him. Likeable character (actress): Madam Chu. Yeah to me, its not Li Fu Ren. It's Madam Chu. Damn, what a character arc! I went from hating, pity to respecting her towards the end. The confessing crime scene that lead to her hang-suicide (her silent crying tears) damn was just moving my heart! Clothing: Entire drama is beautiful and visual feast. The king's robe is just stunning and he uses it so well as he sweeps across the room and barking orders. I think this is what Saeguks korean drama lacking as their clothing were not appealing (to me). I didn't not find the last few episodes compelling, since I can predict what will happen. Yeah, it happen. It's a tragedy genre after all. I hope that Zhang Bin Bin will get more leading role with good script, cause I can see he is a promising fine actor. Rarely I will say this for a first time audience. As for Dilraba, for sure she is a currently hot leading actress in everywhere C-Drama.

May I ask why the King killed her in the end?As you said its a tragedy genre.I kept myself from watching the finale because I thought that I might not want to see the tragic scene.But why did he have to kill her in the end after all the fact that he loved her?Thank You

@@sansibal3635 *SPOILER ALERT* When Jing Ke died terribly, King and Li Er rush towards each other holding swords. But at the last minute, Li Er turns her sword and only hit King with the hilt of her sword, that happen at the same time King's sword was already hit her. She couldn't bring herself to kill him, as she still loved him after all. While King constantly talk about he loved her so much, however in the end he was the one that killed her. Both King and Jing Ke loved her, but none of them ever considered what actually they can do or sacrifice as what Li Er have been done. King's true feeling towards the end shows that he never wholeheartedly loved, trust and support Li Er. That's why I like Han Shen, because he risked his life again again for Li Er, even protecting Tian Ming until his last breath.

@@sansibal3635 King knew that is there is no way he can knocked up Jing Ke with his level of martial art. So he poisoned Jing Ke. With Jing Ke poisoned, King able to stabs him with sword (dirty underhanded trick) 😅
