Veronicah Kariuki me.. I’m just starting today. I’ve ran out of dramas on my app VIKI. I just got done watching The Romance Of Van Geo. I loved it. It was just 24 episodes. It had so many gut laughing parts in it besides love and mystery. A lot steamy hot kissing scenes between the two main characters which is unusual for a drama.

看完前两集，到目前为止，剧情节奏紧凑，演员们演技也都在线，画面色彩与古装相得益彰，看得出都是用了心的。配音听习惯就好，觉得还是很符合剧情需要的😄这两集还没有到平凡女子公孙丽的主场，但也能看出她并非凡俗女子，有心怀天下的男子抱负，也有娇俏少女的俏皮可爱；嬴政时而霸气时而深情，拿捏的很到位。两位主演的表现都让人眼前一亮，值得期待。相信随着剧情的推进，会越来越精彩的。也期待霸气丽姬上线，与秦王与后宫中人来一场精彩对决😘

看過熱巴之前的作品的都會知道，熱巴的臺詞功底真的挺好的，自己的聲線也會隨著人物情緒變化而改變，但古裝戲影視城拍的時候噪音非常大，古裝戲沒可能現場收音，只能配音。配音又是個巨大的耗時工程，熱巴行程工作太滿，這部拍完之後馬不停蹄的又進了下一個劇組，片方也不可能等她來自己配音。其實聽久了也挺好的，配音演員也有自己的專業技術，劇情緊湊不拖沓，熱巴的演技在線說實話看的很過癮，也期待後面的劇情走向

I spent Three days finally finished watching the drama. Still can't get over it. Li'er is very kind-hearted since she was a child, so in the end, she would rather sacrifice her life for the King in order to made him become a good king than kill him for revenge for her senior brother. This is the bright moon heart of Li-er- pure and noble!. The King wanted to dominate the world and make the world peaceful, so he had to use benevolent means and don't hurt the innocent. The title of the show interpreted in English should be The Moonlight Heart of the Beauty in Qing, which can truly reflect the deep meaning expressed in the show, that is, only selfless love can make the world peaceful.

Rewatching this again because I missed this kind of genre. Can we have another historical drama like this please I can't finish most of the new costume dramas recently 😭 For a drama filmed in 2016 and aired in 2017, the costumes were definitely ahead of its time. Dilraba's costumes and styling are totally topnotched.

I know many probably already finished this ancient drama by now but for those who are starting now, I hope this comment brings you some clarity in terms of the States and dynasty this drama took place in: Most of the foreigners probably know about the famous Great Wall and Terra Cotta Army, both constructed during the Great Qin (the dynasty led by the main male lead in this drama), before The Prince took over the new dynasty, China was divided by 6, 7 small states (think the American Confederation). However, instead of talking about a union of the several states peacefully, Prince King (later known to be the first emperor of China) had this vision in his mind of uniting all the states into One China. This drama took place when Prince Qin was trying to invade and seize all the states to realize his One China Dream. The female lead was from one of the smaller states that got seized. That's why she hated Prince Qin. Because in order to take over the smaller states, Qin had to kill and capture the kings of those states. After he took over, he continued to expand the army and build northern borders (think Trump's border wall 🤡) to keep out the northern barbarians and savages now known as the Mongolians. Many many civilians died during the construction of the Great Wall, as well as Terra Cotta (he wanted it because he wanted people to remember him. Every single terra cotta is drawn and built differently based on real people living in that era.) That's why Emperor Qin is known to be extremely heartless and cruel both during his coup and when he held the throne. He is the most well-known emperor of China and his legacy lasted for hundreds of years. Every Chinese student learns about him in middle school history class, and he gets tested on in the exams a lot lol.

I could not finish the peach blossom drama because I loved his character on there and it was too painful for me to watch his affections for the woman he loved go unrequited. 😢
