I'm medical student in Turkey. And you're like a medicine faculty just by yourself.I have been diagnosed as psychosis 5 years ago and couldn't have focus on lectures due to inattention. But I listen lectures here and it's the best medical source for me.Thank you so much Paul Bolin for your effort. Please send me heart❤️🙏

Dr Bolin you make studying a lot easier and fun with how casual you make these courses seem, more discussion less unilateral spilling of information.

Thank you for this...strange to say but as a patient I couldn't get my head around this at all..yet I have listened and watched and followed this perfectly...very grateful for your clear and rational explanation even though its designed for a med student I assume.

I’m new here in this group. My 70 year old mum was diagnosed with endometrial cancer back in October and had a full hysterectomy. But did not do the radiation treatment rhe oncologist thought might be beneficial to prevent recurrence. But 5 months later she had some post menopausal bleeding and then just now was diagnosed with mucous mucosal endometrial recurring cancer. The radiologist said she’s optimistic radiation and chemo treatments will help. I asked for a percentage of non recurrence and unfortunately she said under 50 percent. Lymph nodes are involved possibly near kidneys- they’re saying a mri is needed to pin point radIation. Even tho she had a pet scan already. I’m so scared now because I’ve heard horror stories of chemo treatments and I want my mum to live longer than ten years. I’m super stressed because she’s all I have and she has no family in the United States. Has anyone else dealt with this? * I do want to add that they did not give a stage. The radiologist said they believe the lymph nodes might not be benign. The 50 lymph nodes they took out with the hysterectomy did not show any cancer at all. They just think since it’s been 6 months that the pet scan is showing little signs of calcification on lymph nodes outside the vagina and near the kidneys (but sometimes that happens after surgery) - they want to treat it as cancer - to do the radiation.

Hereditary Non-polyposis Colorectal Cancer "HNPCC" aka Lynch Syndrome//I was diagnosed with hnpcc AFTER my EndoCA diagnosis (age 32). Misdiagnosed (no one offered a biopsy) from age 28-32.//1st colonoscopy age 25 due to maternal multi-gen family history of colon cancer. GI never mentioned Lynch.

I have been trying to understand my symptoms since 28.... and now I realize that, AS I SUSPECTED ALL ALONG, I might have endometrial cancer and I have seen multiple doctors, maybe about 10 in different specialties who could not diagnose me-- even with ascites. LOL. I think that we have HNPCC also-- my family has colon cancer and endometriosis and PCOS... and no one connected any dots... they always dismissed my concerns.

A clear discharge without blood can also be an early sign of cancer. Lots of anecdotal evidence. What’s the outcome of adjuvant therapy? How long do pts w chemo live compared to those without?

Thank you for your helpful information. It seems there is some disagreement about the removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes, especially when the patient has a familiy history of heart disease and or stroke. Please would you be kind enough to elaborate on this. I noticed you only mentioned removing uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes, without the option of keeping the ovaries. I have read that ovarian cancer is rare, and difficult to diagnose.

I had a negative Pap smear last year but around a month ago or two I got a lump on my cervix. It has shrunk but I still feel it. I am so confused but thanks for this long video (lol). Oh I don’t want to have this cancer but I suspect I have it... I want kids one day😞 I would say it’s just a cyst but I can tell something is pushing out my vaginal wall☹️ No pain but it is definitely not normal. Btw if it is a cancer in tissues, couldn’t mom’s cells transfer to her baby if she becomes pregnant before removing everything? Like the kid should be watched especially if female but the cells might go for a boy’s chest🤷🏼‍♀️ I guess the child would be on a watch list all his or her life...

A very valid question. My assumption is lack of decent healthcare and funds for specialized therapies. Basically - discrimination.
