I'd love to see a painting that came from theses or this process with examples of ideas from squares and painting.

I've watched several of your videos and must say that this one strikes me the most because I always seem to struggle when it comes to ideas of what to paint. Abstract is my LOVE! By using the process that you show in this video, I can see that the possibilities are indeed endless. Thank you for sharing!!

A while back, I "enhanced" the drawing table paper I use to protect it a bit, but kept it pretty much the "mess" that it was. It got more bids at the art auction than any other painting. This video brought back good memories.

Thank you Adele for sharing this idea. I love it! I have 'painter's block' by watching other tutorials because I want to do my own thing and not copy some other artist's technique so I just watch and not paint. This idea is just what I needed to see and I think I can resume painting and finding my own 'niche' in acrylics and watercolor painting.

I just picked up painting during the pandemic and I am so thankful for your guidance & wisdom! You are so inspiring!

Adele, I really like this idea for a couple of reasons. In addition to the benefits you mentioned, i.e., inspiration and play opportunities, etc.;I think that this strategy will help me when I find myself “stuck”. Thank you for your attempts at teaching us about mark-making, and play.

This is a great idea! Thanks so much. I’m a little frustrated with what I painted today, but I took your idea and made it digital: I photographed my painting and cropped areas that I like. I’ve got three ideas for future paintings based on that. (In future it’ll be better to have them on paper, rather than on a phone.)
