Creating a Collage Sketchbook / Art with Adele

Creating a Collage Sketchbook / In this tutorial, I'll show you a way to use collage papers that’s really satisfying. It’s a quick and easy way to create a piece of abstract art. We start with a spiral-bound sketchbook with 30 pages and begin to fill each one with one large piece of collage paper. Having one large paper piece to respond to initially is extremely helpful because you won't get bogged down with lots of little bits. Those come later. For this project, we'll use 140lb watercolor paper with perforations so if you fall in love with a page or two you can simply tear it out, frame it, and keep it as inspiration. Or sell it!

Hi Adele, love all your ideas! You are such a joy to watch and learn from. Thank you so much! Do you happen to have your restaurant trays listed with an affiliate link anywhere? If I buy some I’d like you to get a little something since you’d be the reason I found them in the first place! Stay blessed 💖

Lisa, I don’t have a link to purchase the restaurant trays. I got mine on Amazon and just love them. Just so you know, there are two sizes and I have the larger ones because I have tons of collage papers.

Do you ever use Rubber Cement to stick papers that you want to think about instead of using blue tape? I tried once and it seems to work. What are your thoughts?
