My Golden Sleeper build has been my go to for weeks now. 4 pieces of Gold Rathian and Silver Sol Vamps with a Sleep Lance. I am the master of flinch shoting and part breaking.

Finally! A video about the Lance!!!!

Lance went from one of the slowest to possibly the most mobile/ active weapon in the game with Iceborne. I absolutely love it. It's the only weapon that makes you feel like you're the one in control of the fight. Sword and Shield comes close, but Lance really takes it to the next level

How so? Due to counter claw? I do find it faster than Gunlance, but still a bit clunky.

far from only added a tendy, still all the same attacks. maybe you have seen how its actually used now.

@@dreamforger7166 lance feels clunky until you really learn how to move around. In most hunts, i usually only sheathe my weapon when the monster is changing zones. The lance is surprisingly mobile, and personally i feel more comfortable moving around with the lance than i do when just running around freely. Once you know how to move, you should be sticking to monsters like glue

I love the lance. Pulling off a clutch-claw counter is the coolest thing ever :-)

Friend of mine plays lance and NEVER uses the clutch claw, it drives me crazy. I play LS atm and i always need to clutch claw twice while to tenderize, and he says the clutch claw sucks for the lance lol

Lance one of the most underrated weapon.

On the first bullied I would have went for latent power as it is easy to prok (proks after taking 180 dmg) is your getting half stamina use and 50% affinity

Is there a video for the gunlance already?

to make elemental build a more reliable option they should add +5 affinity every 2 level .. i don't like sacrificing 100% affinity on weak point or crit boost :'( so i basically most of the time keep going for non elemental boost and pure raw ...we were told iceborne will offer more diversity, after trying out all elemental option (on switch axe) soul's gear / velkhana / namielle i ended up going back to 3 piece kaiser / agitator / atk boost and even the elemental sa were doing better with those set up .. i heard safi will shake up the meta, so here i am, waiting for it XD

@darcblade would you recommend the first build as an safi'jiva tank build?

just replace whatever skills you can for partbreaker 3 and you're set (partbreaker is mandatory since it's by breaking parts that you raise reward levels), if you need more comfort add a tremor resistance as well

Wow talk about timing I have been debating trying Lance despite them never giving it a buff they should it's the only thing that they haven't buffed..

I'm currently making a lance retalition build!

First and thanks for making this was willing to try out lance.

I’m pretty sure Raging Brachy and Safi’s trump nergi by quite a bit.

If you need a natural purple sharpness stick then look at the hornataur it has alot of natural. And I've never cared about affinity since I stand infront and hit whatever I see and I never go out without mindseye deco since bounce is a trash mechanic

Hi, I'm new in iceborne and playing lance here. Totally feels overwhelmed in iceborne because monster change sides fast. Beriath, Shriek Legiana, Bracydios. A few question for lance veteran. 1. When monster flinching, i'm always one step too late to flinch shot them. Overly because (L2+right stick + O) which is dumb if i'm thinking. Is there any way to change this? 2. Clutch claw counter so great. Its also nice if you pair it with offensive guard. Makes it real counter with atk power up 15%.

You answered your own question. With the lance, you wanna try to use the claw counter instead of just using the clutch claw normally. Sometimes though, you csnt use a claw counter for whatever reason. What i do in these situations is just sheathe my lance. Then you can just aim and shoot the claw, no need to press in the right stick

600 hours later and i have every other charm i want but not a guard up jewel..but ive got like 5 minds eye jewels.

I like your build-videos, but is it really necessary to explain all skills on every build? I would guess that people looking for endgame-builds know what weakness-exploit does. Or at least remember what you said about it 5 minutes ago. Omitting this would shorten the videos immensly without the loss of any useful information for the target audience.

Lol you said the lance was defensive dude the whole thing with the lance is counter guard so you are applying pressure all the time
