Why doesn’t Shaun Evans get the recognition he deserves brilliant actor and gorgeous

Absolutely love this series. My only complaint is that the season is TOO SHORT.

it looks almost impossible but here it is. One man, doing at least two heavy jobs with a smile and apparently the greatest of joy. The respect from the cast and crew is heartwarming! He surely deserves it!

He is a great actor and director, John Thaw would be proud.

My favourite show ever. The entire cast are fantastic and it's one of Britains best.

This is absolutely one of my favorite mystery shows. My husband and I usually have to watch a show 2 or 3 times to get to all the nuances of what is going on. We watch it and then discuss it and find there are things that one of us has missed or that we interpret differently. Then we will watch it again for answers and sometimes we even need to watch it again for more of the deeper clues to the characters. It is just wonderful.

Me too... You really have to pay attention. There’s so much going on and so many details in each episode that I have to watch a second time at least to get it all.

It took awhile but I noticed during the opening credits if I pay attention to the different scenes it has clues for the episode!

Jerry Bryson Endeavour is way better than Morse. Morse was too much about...Morse. The cases were too fanciful as in not realistic and concentrated more on Morse’s life than the crimes

Endeavor is one of my favorite shows!

Absolutely the best! Wonderful actors all of them. Loved John Thaw as/in Inspector Morse, and Shaun Evans does the finest possible job as the young Morse. Amazed to find he is a great director too. Love the story lines, so well crafted, so credible, so intricately interwoven, with lots of clues about the older Morse's character and life story, and plenty of substance for the other characters to grow before our eyes into real people, so every one of them becomes unforgettable.

I love Endeavour. I usually have to watch it a few times, to catch everything, and just because it's SO enjoyable. I love the cast.

I absolutely love this......its like engaging with an old friend whom you haven't seen for awhile....but more so.....bloody delight to watch and couldn't imagine anyone else playing Endeavour......

Wonderful show. Shaun is great. The workload when acting and directing as well must be enormous. I enjoy Endeavour a lot. Oh, one more thing, all the actors are very good. The whole team must be very professional to produce such quality. Thank you.

I absolutely love Shaun Evans and his Endeveaour! He is brilliant, charming, smart, clever and amazing. Love all the characters as well. Brilliant actors and lovely all of them.

Endeavour is the best thing on TV, watching it on ITV3 at the moment, pure escapism and very absorbing.

Without doubt, THE BEST tv series ever made! The cast, the acting, the storylines ... absolutely everything is done to such a level of perfection, it simply can't be beaten. And to top it all, it's clear after watching some of these 'behind the scenes' videos, that the cast have a great deal of respect for one another. I've watched them over and over, and now have the excuse (not that I need one) to watch them right through from the pilot episode once again - as my son has now become an avid fan too. "Keep up the excellent work guys!" ... whether you're in front of, or behind, the camera. The results of all your hard work and effort give so much pleasure to so many people.

Shaun Evans is gorgeous. And not like the mo either. Aged him beyond his years. He was hiding behind it, in the series. I think he and Morse are one & the same. Keeps himself private, not on awful Social Media. And an extremely yummily handsome man. Love to mess him up, and his lovely hair. Omg🥰

I'm watching it from Italy in English language to learn. Very very nice actors

Yes, the English that they are speaking is beautiful . One can learn a lot by listening carefully.

First time I love equally both the series and Shaun Evans 🥰❤️ if only the series was almost as long as the young & the restless 😋🤣🤣🤣

My husband says that unfortunately, this show is going to eventually run into the original “Morse” show and will have to end...darn it.

I believe there were 15 Morse books written but the series ran for over 30 episodes. So I’m hoping as long as people want to watch the series and the main actors stay with it then Endeavour hopefully will run for quite a while.

I think they made a promise to stop at 33 like lewis so none of the sequals/prequels had more episodes than the original series so as to pay respects to John Thaw and everybody

Brilliant series, always can't wait for the next. Absolutely appreciate the hardest work of all the crew and actors.

Its great that the protagonist id now the director aswell (or at least for that one episode) its kind of like what happened with Bryan cranston on breaking bad near the end

Best drama on t v Shaun Evan's is a top actor as is the rest of the Castx

Captures the period like few other shows, uses less well know actors and faces that help to give the film and story a sense of its own “reality “( verisimilitude as the great dick donner called it ) so you don’t feel as though your watching something that’s “created” and is thus totally believable, 3 dimensional characters that you warm to due to the superb writing and a fabulous cast and crew who have a great love for the whole production to tell these stories to the best of their ability, so who when it all comes together create a wonderful whole that’s gripping, cinematic and captures oxford and the surrounding countryside beautifully. Many years after this has finished a lot of people who made this drama will I believe reflect on some of their best work. Tremendous

I preferred him without the moustache too. He's so good in the part. Shaun has got a certain aura about him. Not handsome in a conventional way but he certainly has charisma. Perhaps it's better to be charismatic than very handsome. I am sure there are men out there who have both but they are probably few and far between.

In the US, Endeavour doesn’t say the insult to Joan about her new look. That comment was meaner than I expected.
