Enamel Art Painting on Metal - Rat Fink

Watch as I try my hand at enamel art painting on metal of a rat fink cartoon character with one shot enamel paints. Rat Fink is a huge part of Kustom Kulture, when hot rodders created their own way of painting their rides. This enamel art painting is done on an aluminum metal car tag.
I follow instructions provided by Coop in the Pinstriping Masters book and created my own version of this bad boy a/k/a Rat Fink. Rat Fink was created by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth as an anti-Micky Mouse character and is known world wide. I think my Rat Fink came out real cool!!

Love your work. Question how reflective is enamel paint on metal?. I'm an artist, but I also love to do custom stuff on guns but it has to be flat.

Hi David, thank you. The paint is not reflective, but the colors are very vibrant. These paints were meant for sign makers. They are long lasting and very visible. Pin stripers use them on vehicles. Just buy yourself one or two colors to play with. One Shot Enamel Paint

Trying to get the word out ,maybe one of the bigger brush companies will see the value in all of my superior brush designs, they obviously have no talent for copying my designs,because all of the copies suck,except the natural hair one from Dago, but it’s still a copy…I could never do a copy like that …too much pride…

Sorry your kids are not interested. But, I do get it. Non--artistic minds don't think the same. I love your brushes.. just wish I was able to use them like you do! That is what practice is for. I wish you luck with the sale of your brush business!

@@artbycherylann8431 Sorry Cheryl ..didn,t want to sound too critical but i think you're missed the the essense of the the Ratfink . Take a close look at an original and pick up the key points ..I,v just finished one on a Ratrod and it,s getting good feedback ..glad to point out a fee clues to get yours better 🤗
