This video is about pinstripe practice and the basics that need to be mastered. Using a grid pattern under a sheet of glass allows you to practice your pinstripe lines and pattern symmetry. The only way to get better at this art is to practice, practice, practice. Follow along with me as I do my pinstripe practice using a Mack 000 sword brush and I explain what basic materials you will need to get started. VERY HELPFUL VIDEO, I JUST STARTED STRIPIN IN FEB. THEN IN MARCH HAD SHOULDER OPERATION LAST NIGHT WAS THE FIRST TIME BACK SINCE, IM STILL PRETTY STIFF BUT MY MOBILITYS COMIN BACK, YOUR 100% RIGHT IT TAKES ALOT OF PRACTICE

Hi Mike, they make it look sooooo easy don't they! As with any other art form, lots of practice is required. All the best for a fast recovery!
The picture frame is a golden idea! Is it best to practice with the canvas horizontal on a table or vertical on an easel like you have it? Is it best practice to sit or stand?

Hi mrmy, for me, I like to stand or have it on my easel. If you plan to stripe vehicles, you'll be in all kinds of positions. Most important is to keep practicing. Even stripers who have been doing it for many years limber up with some practice strokes before they touch a vehicle.
