Israel TOTALLY screwed up by releasing multiple propaganda videos that were quickly proven to be fake. Until then, the western world was by and large sympathetic with Israel. Obviously every country releases propaganda but when people see through it it hurts the cause.

I wish this was longer and I wish he would’ve gotten into the history.. maybe he does in another video.. But I REALLY appreciate the conversation of empathy for both sides

So unfortunate that he repeatedly gets the date wrong and no one points it out.

Why do we care so much . Most of these conversations by the students is full of conspiracy theories, lies , and false history to fit their Palestinian narrative and no one mentions anything. On the other video the Arab girl said It's so easy to spot a tiny mistake about a date but not the horrible lies

Where can we find the whole lecture video?

His example just kind of shows the bloodlust that blinds people

If you call them soldiers then you would have to say that Palestinians government commits crimes against humanity.... Calling them terrorists provides some benefit to Palestinians.

Missed on Christian view of Jews. That was written by Jews to Jews about non-believing Jews. ML had some weird views at the end of his life, true. But ML doesn’t represent the Bible well in that at all. Bible does say that the Jews will be hostile for your sake (persecuting Christians) but that God has a special place/plan for them in the future. Most Christians miss this even today. God has a very real plan for the Jews.

I was just going to address this, but you did a better job than I would have - so thank you! I'm attending a lecture series on patristics (the study of church fathers). Even my Traditional Latin Mass church is pro respecting all people of faith, regardless of their religion. The modern churches I used to attend were the same, only more outspoken. I'm tired of people slandering Christians. No Christian thinks the jays killed Jesus, lol. The crucifixion was conducted by the Romans and we have no grudge against them.

So wrong on the Christian view on Jews. I wonder if he talks to Christian’s in his everyday life? Professor said he was raised Catholic. I don’t think his Christian friends or family members hold these views, but yet he pretends that it’s just classic Christian views. Idk where he’s getting this nonsense from!

He speaks to the history, not necessarily the current consensus on Christian views. And as is shown, there are documents (books!) proving this. But thankfully you're right, those aren't the current views accepted by the peaceful masses.

In the grand scheme of things, this is a very recent change and isn’t by any means universal. Although one doesn’t see pogroms these days, Jew hatred runs deep in Christianity and western civilization alike. It’s just no longer popes and theologians voicing it.

If we can’t keep sympathy for all people we are soulless

@@missdemeanor3524 America went to war for 20 years in Afghanistan, killing something in the ballpark of 180,000 people, in response to a single terrorist attack carried out by 19 people. Israel hasn't killed that many Palestinians in 100 years of conflict.

Its utterly disgusting that this “teacher” thinks the only difference between soldiers and terrorists is that one fights for an army🤦‍♂️How could someone say that. The way he so confidently says October 6th is glaring evidence to why this guy is unfit to teach serious subject matters like this. every viral video he has is full of comments tearing apart his “lecture”. Its a shame this is what one of the largest universities have to offer
