I have always thought repetition was the main driver so this is a real insight that could be a game changer for me. I am now going to consciously set up things so I maximise the emotional benefit or at least will be more mindful of it while tracking results.

The above are more about breaking habits down to managable size although they talk about emotions I am in the search for literature (no Matter the size of behavior) on how emotion create habits
