Wonder if it was partially based on Lake Lanier..being a man made lake with towns and cemeteries still in tact underneath. Apparently there are many of the mysterious lakes.

Hatted the intro scene where the man was lighting a cigarette while looking out over the pristine wilderness, might have well been pointing a gun to his head!

That's exactly what it was. Parts of it were so sweet and personal but we can relate happens. Some of it was FYI, FBI and intelligence because the waters are not safe and over time literally because of us and the breakdown of the family.
