Insightful analysis of a gritty rock performance. A pleasure to listen to and view. Thanks.

You obviously are as incended by these ladies as I am, Michal. They are unique. They are rocky, bluesy, funky and jazzy altogether. And, you detected it, they have a very close sisterly connection. I never have been a dedicated fan of any band, but I instantly became one hearing Rebecca singing for the first time: "You don't know what I got to give" from their song "Pink and Red". Now I know, she and her wonderful sister have got to give hell of a lot of good music. Be it Rebecca's singing or Megan's stunning lap steel. Thank you for commenting this show at the Convent's Club. It was one of their best shows ever.

I've been revisiting these older reactions that I've commented on before, but I am glad to be reminded why my friends at Kinsiders are important to me...'cause you were here too, a year or more ago! I think " New Pony" is a cover they ought to put on Kindred Spirits Too!!!!!

Your response is articulate. It's nice that you really understand their vibe. They have replaced this bass player.

Their more recent living room videos really show their sisterly vibes. For a great live song, check out the many video recordings of “John The Revelator” they performed at various festivals last summer.

Because I'm an old guy I remember the Lovall sisters. They have done so much great stuff. Good review. Work on those eyebrows. Michal has a Chessher cat kind of smile. Beautiful. I think, Mad as a Hatter was one of the creepiest, coolest songs performed in the last ten years or so, or more. I don't know why more bands can't come up with stuff like that. Not just lyrics and history but instrumental playing. Green Day did one that got a lot of play on the radio, oh, abut twenty years ago that was a stand out piece. All it takes is one note precisely done.

Aloha Miki, one tiny correction for you on the Lovell's bio: Their great, great, great, great grandfather Larkin Haskew Poe was a distant cousin of Edgar, so that makes them cousins not nieces as you have been saying. FYI

Saying you don't like Dylan's voice is like saying Mick Jagger's too skinny.
