Same here! I just happened to see their "Killing Me Softly" cover a week ago and I've been hooked ever since. Like you, I wonder how I missed hearing about them earlier.

I shoulda been there. LOVE Megan's side playing.

A dynamite performance from these two fine sisters who should be on top of the music world right now with the media exposure that they deserve. Rebecca is one hell of a powerhouse blues-rock singer!

Mystical. An insanely fresh rendition. These gals have such a touch. People wonder why they don't get a big label deal...the big labels just don't get this depth. I think they are like Rory Gallagher and prefer the control of venue that allows them to be Larkin Poe....no strings attached

Amen! Hope they never change. The recognition is coming along bit by bit. The recent rendition of Spoonful with Joe B should earn them some cred. I'll be immensely disappointed if Venom & Faith isn't at least nominated for the Grammy for best contemporary Blues album.

@@truckerkevthepaidtourist Yes it did! I was so anxious watching the Grammy website the day the nominations were announced. So pumped! Now we just need to wait and see if they can pull out the win! I suppose hoping for them to play on the show is too much to ask.

@@dnett57 even if they don't win that's okay getting nominated as a step in the door with only a few die albums under your belt and how far that they've come in less than 10 years since they became Larkin Poe and not the Lovell sisters so right now all the doors are just wide open for however they chart their course... I hope they win but if they don't just being nominated though is great too where they are at in their lives

Actually I've been practicing these girls songs ! Over the past fewdays! It would be cool as shit ! To sing with them in person !!!! I think they would really be blown away at how it sounds on my end ! The few I've sang for loved it!!!! Maybe one day they may hear my voice ! Would be cool if they did!!!!! I'm not a pro and only do it for fun! One day if God wants me to sing proffestinaly I'll be there!!!!!

Agreed. I saw them in Houston in Nov 18. Stood 3 rows back from the stage. Was SHOCKED that only about 200 people were there. Highly doubt I'll be able to get that close to the stage next time they're in town.
