Emma Lee was my aunt, and she did have some great food all the time. Emma lee's is a great restaurant to eat if you want to experience what I did as a child and an adult. I love my family spirit and support to keep Emma Lee's spirit alive. May God continue to bless you all. Love Kaye.

@@msway836 The crazy thing is...at first glance, it looked as though the black people were serving the white people. However, I had to take a deeper look and open my mind more. Perhaps that's the case, yet the white people "know a good meal" so they spend their MONEY and support the black business, enabling the black families to sustain and support theirs. The circle of life. United We Stand...Divided We Fall!!

I thank GOD for my family from Arkansas! We've migrated mostly to: Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, Indiana, Missouri and Ohio. Nothing like the delta of Arkansas!

It's always a blessing to see those that have it give back to those that are less fortunate!! Mrs.Emma was like my MOM they both grew up in a era were if you knew someone in need you help those people in anyway you can!! A home cook meal cooked by a Godley Woman is 1 of the best meals ever!! I certainly do wish Courtney and his family all the very best in the Future Business Endeavors!! RIP Mrs.Emma Lees Sweet Angle😇🙏🏽😇

I live in northern California and we do not have a soul food restaurant there, and the nearest one is 2 hour south of us. When I have it I almost cry because I knows its cooked from love and all about quality unlike other types of food which is about quantity.
