JL, I didn't see your previous vlog on Lavish in West Philly so this restaurant is new to me! Three cheers for Bob & the Lavish crew! The place looks first class! The combination of affordable good nourishing food for the local community & a sound business plan make this operation a potential winner! Not without saying, the food, freshly made, looking very appetizing! This is the type of restaurant I will support! I love the owners intro! He did a fine job explaining his process of if there’s a wait time, working on supplying enough food, etc. Wish him the best of luck!!!

Some people do not realize what happens behind the scenes, when you got social media and people lining up for food expect to wait. Just remember to be patient as well as kind. Service workers really do a lot and they are often not paid what they deserve. They are doing their best.

Nah fr. People that never worked in restaurants or the food industry don’t get it. It’s wild that he had to explain that about orders. Especially if the food is coming out fresh! These are the types of role models young Black youth need to see - entrepreneurs, community minded people, and hard workers.

This is truly amazing. Quality food at affordable price in a community that needs it. Good job crew.

Ive opened a few resturants in the late 90s for my boss,and it takes 3 months to smooth things out and get the right personnel in place.High turnover in the buisness and once things start to fire on all cylinders it becomes routine,not automated,but just everybodys working togther and in step with the beat like a marching band.For $6 people best have some patience,loyalty,support and help this guy become succesful and branch out to support other cities and communities

It's never a good thing! Business 101... Called supply and demand: if one were to run out of food to many times the people would eventually take their money elsewhere.

The food at Lavish is sooooo good. I bought a couple of $5 dinners earlier this year all because of JLJupiter!! Congrats!

I saw your review on Lavish in West Philly. My daughter went there and got 2 platters, chicken and salmon. Both were good. Chester is a bit far so we will go back to West. They do run out of food because nobody in Philly sell $6 platters.
