Eminem is not one song, one album , or even one decade. His career arc is possibly one of the most interesting and unusual rap careers of any artist. It intertwines with multiple generations , multiple styles, different political and social issues in America of different time periods, and is a story of personal growth, overcoming adversity from both sides of the different classes in America, in different eras, and putting his world view into a digestable and entertaining product. When I hear youngns calling Eminem trash and cherry picking one line from one song to make their point, I wonder what happened to the critical thinking ability of people in this country - whatever you think of his style, theres no doubt that hes a complex figure and without his contributions, Rap may not be what it is today, and many other areas of society also. This takes nothing away from other greats, Eminem is just a one of one artist.

Genuinely for those that don’t like or don’t think Eminem is the best, I just ask them to listen to his catalogue. Not just 1 album or a few songs here and there. Some of ems best bars are on random ass songs that never made an album. People just need to listen to understand the greatness

Em's attention to precision and detail is ridiculous. You can listen to songs like this 100 times and still find gems like this. There is also an allusion to a drink, being preferred shaken, not stirred (like bond). "Maybe i should stir up shit, preferably shake the world up"....insane.

No joke. Kids thsse days only have one, maybe two, layers of logical. rational thought process. Em, however, a commited, every-day dictionary reader has a minimum of 2,600+ "levels to this shit." Not many understand that. Homie has an elevator like the one in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory lol. Up, down, left, right, forward, backward, diagonal, or simply blast out this glass-top bitch like a cannon after being explained how he is now and forever the leader of this shyyyytttt legggoooo!!!!
From South Africa 🇿🇦 . We appreciate your knowledge
Em will forever be in that rap battle mentality. It gives him fuel to keep going. That should earn his respect even beyond the music. You aren't going to get much more humble and authentic as Marshall. 🤗

It's not his best verse technically, or even close. It's like Till I collapse, not technically his best, but the feeling behind it is what makes it great. It's just the feeling behind it really, the emotion and delivery, the instrumental behind it and what he's actually talking about, is what gives Best friend that "Epic" sound which is really what Stevies talking about. And that's exactly what Em's style was back then, 2010-2015.

For real tho i mean i get what they mean by that, its their favorite style or sounding eminem. But his whole career every album he has dropped is literally a whole new sound he dont just bite off his past success and style. Even know he easily could do that and sell more records but he is rapping for himself now doing what he wants to do and evolving as a artist and person. He is by far head and shoulders more technical with flows schemes bars etc. Than ever right now atm. But its trendy to hate on him now days so people hate to get the clout.
If stevie keep talking about best friend is the best verse that Eminem ever put , i think Eminem will make a new song just for stevie to appreciate it more than best friend 😂 and ain’t no one gonna be made about that 🔥

Hey I’m pretty new to watching ur content and I just wanted to say how much I love ur Eminem videos. I know, we as people, shouldn’t just surround ourselves with the opinions of those that agree with us but I can’t tell u how nice it is to come to a channel that has the same level of RESPECT that I have for eminem. I’m by no means a stan but it’s still nice to be able to watch videos that address all the bullshit that there is out there about Em while still talking about his genius. Cuz I mean there’s plenty of reactions out there done by em fans but they don’t do the amount of content that u do and they don’t keep it as real as u do. U have a great understanding of his talent and it’s always soo interesting for me to hear how others view him and breakdown his art. But ya, like I said I know I shouldn’t just watch u cuz u have the same opinion as me (well most of the time.. not all the time 😂) , but it’s just so nice to not watch videos about him with some wack ass opinions. Cuz even if I don’t agree with u, I’ve never thought ur opinion was wack. And some videos I watch just feel like a gut punch cuz of the blatant lack of respect and understanding of the man’s genius so it’s nice to come to a place where I know I’ll never feel like that. Just thought I’d put that all out there ❤️
