"Imagine going from being a no one to seeing everything blow up and all you did was just grow up emceeing". Not only one of my fav Em lines but one of the best lines ever.
Well Stevie in a sense he did say goodbye with this song coz this came out at the hight of his fame, 8 Mile had just come out and this album was number 1 too and after this he turned into a recluse, never acted again except small cameos and became ultra private.... If he had to continue on his original path he would probably be even bigger (if that's possible) but he'd probably be dead by now too

The man shreds especially on Godzilla and he doesn't give a f*** what people he is talking about has to say he just does and says whatever he thinks is fans will love. He is successful because he actually cares and keeps going because of the culture makes him want to keep killing every beat. I can't name one song of his that I was like that is wack. I've always been worried he's going to stop 🤣. Frickin 20 years with my fingers crossed hoping he never ever does. Been a few times I didn't think he would come back, but then he turns around and drops am album out of nowhere, keeping us on our toes. I'm also hoping that he outlives me!! That little part was fire, but c'mon... Eminem has songs where he's rhyming the same 4-5 syllable scheme for the entire verse, not just two bars. Till I collapse for example which is in that same album, and Lose Yourself which came right after. Renegade is also basically an entire verse of the same 5 syllable scheme. Either way any single random song from his new albums is wayyyyy more complex in rhyme schemes, cadence or double entendres. But yes, that specific line did pop put at me in this song.
Up there with the best tracks 👏🏻
