Why would someone try to stay relevant to people who aren't relevant to anyone or anything they respect? You think he respects most the shit that's out here now? You have to respect someone to validate or have value in anything they have to say so if you don't who tf are they to you?? Nah bro puff puff pass that shit somewhere else. The man did all he needed to do and will forever be cemented in the halls of fame as the greatest of his time and people still trying to climb up his coattails.

Saddest part is. Em is right. There was a huge shift In hip-hop culture some 5-10 years ago. Before you had to make your own lane, you couldn't be caught biting someone else's style/flow, and you for SURE couldn't have ghost writers. All that has changed for the worse. Rappers chasing name recognition, and damn be the hip-hop culture if it makes them money. Em has stayed true to himself and to his fans. He has never faked his position and feelings towards something. Always pays respect to the ones that came before him. And hit us with insane penmanship, double/triple/quadruple entodrumes, with sick pockets and multisyllable rhyme schemes. Dude has proven time and time again he is the GOAT. and if he isn't YOUR goat, thats ok, but he is top 5 easy. Dudes resume speaks for itself

You're easily mislead if you think writers aren't standard industry practices. You're also willfully ignorant if you think Eminem is the exception. Usually the bigger they are, the more ghosts. your mislead if you think it was standard in hiphop to have ghost writers and copying flow style 5-10 years ago as the original commenter said. Yeah it’s been the standard for other music genres but not in Hip hop . There was of course rare exceptions like Eazy E not writing his stuff but he was part of N.W.A his group members are heavy hitters writing it for him that’s still not the standard. It goes against the love of the art writing your own rhymes and only top tier lyricist were respected for that talent. Your ignorant if you believe Ems using ghost writers he has proved he writes his own shit & other artists have confirmed it. Em started as a battle rapper you had to fire back off the top of the dome I.e freestyle to your opponent can’t ghost write in the moment of a battle. Your also uninformed if you think Em isn’t in top 5, he may not be in your opinion but all of the OG rap legends have put Em in theirs and their opinion is respected more then a nobody. Em is among one of the greatest wordsmiths ever and most artists you listed said ems in theirs. Just because it’s accepted to copy & standard to have ghost writers now doesn’t mean it was back then when em was coming up so Ems point is valid so is the comment your ignorant ass replied to. We’re not talking about pop songs here we’re talking about rap I.e rhythm & poetry.

If we're talking about his music, than there's a lot of bias and taste envolved in it, it's subjective. But that point about him not battling great rappers make it sound like there were a lot of them just throwing shots at him and he just did nothing. They simply just didn't say anything out of respect or fear. And the Joe Budden situation: EM dissed Joe on Chloraseptic Remix and Joe tried to say it wasn't for him. When Em actually said his name on Kamikaze, instead of writing a response, Joe threw a tantrum in his podcast. WTF was Em suposed to do? Release a diss track on a retired rapper that didn't write a single bar during their altercation? What a load of BS

Is literally the reason that happened. Attack the political ideas, attack the solutions being given, hell attack the representative of the ideas and solutions. Just don't attack the every day citizen for believing what they believe saying you hate them and don't want them to be fans. Like no shit that's going to cause you to lose fans you said you don't want them. Even if he did admit he shouldn't have attacked the fans and said he shouldn't have said he didn't want them as fans. He still did it and that's the reason...not the trump shit.
