"How Can I Be Down" was a rap contest held in Florida. Bizarre drove all of D-12 down there to perform. Him and Proof slept on the floor of the hotel so the guys could have enough room to sleep yeah. Speaking of Bizarre, he had a diss towards Joe Budden called.. "Love Tap" if I'm not mistaken. One of Em's lyrics mentions a "love tap". Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not

The amount of effort you’re putting in to this , trying to listen is awesome. But it also proves why there’s so many haters of Eminem out there. Propel can’t multitask and won’t go back to listen again if they don’t like it. The amount of times I had to replay an Eminem song over and over again before I caught everything was unreal. That’s what ‘professional’ writing is. Best line he’s written IMO is ‘I’m so much like my father you would think I knew him’ which is beautifully succinct.

Only because I watched the 1st reaction 1084736292 times… i laughed way too hard because the only bar Stevie caught in the first was “held against your will like a hubcap” but thats the one he struggled with here! Hahahaha!!! Stevie is the GOAT! Getting through the whole song when your mind and body are telling you to forget it and just vibe with it 🥶

The first time the chorus hit on this reaction i replayed it 5 times or so and just vibed with you Stevie. True musical masterpiece.

Even with you being so hyped and feeling the beat and lyrics so damn much, this is still one of the best breakdowns of Venom I've ever watched. Super detailed bar cathing and you made me rethink a lot of bars on this track. This is why you're still one of the best channels for this shit! ♥️

Eminem’s best verses to me as far as writing is Darkness. Telling 2 stories at once, the way that he did it, is something I’ve never heard. He has verses that are insane but that song was the most creative writing ever imo.

Darkness, however, is an entirely written double entendre, also based off a true event. It’s definitely up there in creativity in writing. It’s silly that you think “em fans” don’t know hip hop when most em fans are from SEVERAL different generations of hip hop ages. Btw. I’d argue ‘Never Love Again” is better than ‘Darkness’. I honestly listen to it more.

Edgar Allan Poe was also a known addict, specifically to opiates and alcohol. It caused him manic episodes. So I hear that as Em saying Venom makes him feel like not himself like EAP's manic episodes. Then you have the embedded comparisons of the similar substances they used. And people who are addicted often feel like the substances were in control, like what Venom does to his host.

I might be tripping but I think the jeep wrangler, back in to ya, back in India scheme is talking directly about the movie. Pretty sure the vehicles they used were Jeep, there's scenes where he gets crashed into by them, and I think the villian came from Malaysia/India. Sounds like he watched the movie, read the script, or they explained certain aspects and he incorporated them into the song.

this is what I love about Em, his rhymes don't only sound good together but they also have a deeper relationship with each other. Some of them bars get pregnant and that's when you get double, triple, quadruple entendre. The more you dissect his lyrics, the more meaning, Easter eggs, and references you'll get out of it. That's what most artists lack today, DEPTH.
