Your glasses are gorgeous Emiel and they look great on you! Keep them as sunglasses. I always wear sunglasses over my contacts, keeps the wind out of my eyes. You're used to contacts, so it would be very strange to go back to glasses anyway, and those frames are too heavy for a prescription. The sunglasses are very cool!

Hi KatGirlBlue, Well you are not the first with the advice to keep them as sunglasses. So I will keep them in their original form. The plan is to buy a new pair of Neostyle Nautic 2 sunglasses and have those converted into glasses. I am used to lenses, but lately I am getting tired of them. Especially after a days work - and the heater is on - they are getting 'dry' and the first thing I do when I get home is to put them out of my eyes. My wife says: maybe time has come to start glasses once in a while, and when you go out to a party or so --> wear your lenses! So more or less combining both. But speaking of the original sunglasses. Man..., these are heavy!! I really do not envy Elvis wearing these (back in the 1970s). @@ElvisPress wow, that doesn't sound comfortable at all, being so heavy! How strong is your prescription? If it's very light, I guess it might not matter, but I have a very strong prescription and could never get used to wearing glasses again. Also with glasses you have no peripheral vision, and that drives me crazy - that's half the field of vision! If the problem is very dry eyes, you should go see your eye doctor and he'll give you special prescription drops to use every morning and night, and your eyes will never be dry again! Those drops are like a miracle, and I only use them at night because I can't really wait the 15 minutes before putting in my contacts in the morning. I don't suppose you need the time to put on your makeup, so it will be easy for you to wait 15 minutes, put in your contacts, and go! He also told me to use a brand of drops with them in, in case they get dry, but that never really happens anymore since I use the prescription drops. I just keep it handy in case it's been very windy, for example. Maybe it's time to see if you should change the type of lenses you wear also. There's so many new types now, and also many doctors say that if you have dry eyes it's best to wear Daily lenses, so at the end of the day you just throw them out - no protein buildup, no chance of irritation or causing dry eyes. I can't wear them because I have extreme astigmatism, but maybe you can. Either way, those prescription drops will make an enormous difference. Wait a minute - isn't this supposed to be about Elvis? OOPS! 😊

Hey Emiel! Thanks to you, there are two very happy Elvis fans in Melbourne living around the corner from each other, who have now met up three times, and are planning lots more. P. has been to my home twice to look at my Elvis collection, and I hope to visit her soon to drool over hers! We love our teeshirts, and when the weather is warmer (it is freezing here at the moment!) we will probably go out for coffee and shopping, both wearing the teeshirts - sure to make an impression! If she is agreeable, we will get a photo of us both and send it to you! Some people don't like to be seen online though, so if not, it might just be me. But France is very disappointing and your Austrian coach is a very clever guy! So Austria deserves to be on top of the group. But the Dutch are happy to play against Romania in the 8th finals. About several weeks ago Elvis's granddaughter Finley Lockwood posted a pic on her Instagram storyline of a portrait of Elvis in the Aloha From Hawaii concert in a restaurant in LA that she was at. I wished I had screenshot it but didn't think to. It was cool to see her do that and show her grandfather some love and I thought you would find that interesting.

Another interesting video, Emiel! Okay, I'm just going to guess for the Elvis trivia that the photo is transposed. As for your Elvis glasses, as long as you're able to wear contacts, wear them. Don't change the sunglasses. They sound like they're heavy to wear, which will put more of a dent in the sides of your nose than with regular glasses if you wear them for a long period of time...unless that doesn't bother you. But I would keep the glasses as sunglasses. Good luck with your decision. Loved the story about the lady who got her Graceland wish from the Twilight Wish Foundation. I hope she had a blast. That motorcycle/guitar combo set looked fantastic with the paint jobs. Beautifully done. I also plan to send you at least one ELVIS IS EVERYWHERE photo. Good luck getting 10,000 subscribers! Oh Gloria, you MUST have noticed (by the shirt I'm wearing, for example...) that I'm quite vain! So the least thing that I want is to have dents in the sides of my nose! Looking at the comments the most people advice me to keep them as sunglasses, and to buy a new pair of newly produced Neostyle Nautic 2 glasses! FRM is a Friday Music re-release from 2018, so technically not wrong.

Emil: I recommend you get another frame. Make one pair regular prescription lenses and a second pair tinted prescription sunglasses. You will not need contact lenses. I am nearsighted and have one pair of regular prescription lenses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. I tried contact lenses many years ago, they irritated my eyes. Maybe they are good for your eyes

Things have changed drastically since then and contact lenses are very comfortable. I could never go back to wearing prescription glasses. Maybe your doctor was not an expert in fitting, because I'm very hard to fit, and with astigmatism too which complicates things, but have a doc who is a real expert in fitting those with problem eyes. Also there are so many different types now, there is a brand and fit and material for everyone to be as comfortable as not wearing anything at all! If you're used to contacts, you can't get used to prescription glasses again. For one thing, you don't get peripheral vision, and that's very annoying.

You're right Emiel, my mistake. It's "Just A Little Bit Of Green", just like on the cover of the "Back In Memphis" album...

For me, the reference isn't right, this is LSP-4429, no FRM-4429, and the letters "Back in Memphis" are in green, no blue.

I personally wouldn't refer to it as a joke, but it certainly wasn't put together the way that many fans (including myself) would've done it.

@@tonbruins7335 I wish Sony/RCA would take sometime and do an album that contains some songs the general population did not know Elvis sang. Like the impossible Dream, Good time Charlie got the blues, the last farewell etc. instead of putting out the same songs just mixed them up a bit. I mean Elvis is supposed to have recorded over 600 songs. Surely someone at Song/ RCA could put out an album that No Elvis fan has heard before?? Maybe I am asking for the possible I do not know??

Trivia answer: the blue and green colours have been reversed from the original. (And the catalogue number FRM-4429 is odd).

Elvis MEMPHIS, but they used photos from LAS VEGAS on the covers. Ugh. And why leave out 13 songs? So annoying. 👍
