Listen to the Lyrics of his gospel songs like the one below "Band New Start" .. he tells you his story and who he believes in now. I don't know how much longer he has to live. But he appears in good health. He has the money to stay young looking because of who he once was. Watch some of his sermons and see his personality in front of a group of people. The personality cannot be imitated or erased. And the singing voice is not Mistakeable.

yes i hope there is a witness protection programme -cos the music business and hollyweird are the most corrupt - if they keep working actors and singers to death then i would like to think some have the brains and means and wisdom of God, to escape and i hope Elvis was one of them - conspiracy or conspiracy theory? - truth or lie? - who said " those you think are dead are alive and those you think are alive are dead" in any event - i enjoy worshipping God to his music - if Jesus truly is the resurrection and the life and i believe He is - those who believe never die - maybe he said in his heart the scripture "i shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord" - i kinda love that scripture because when they wanted to switch off baby Charlotte Wyatt's life support - the court case made front page news in the UK - someone flew into the UK and arrived at her hospital with that very scripture - someone else also arrived with the "i shall not die" scripture - it was me - 2 years earlier my own baby boy survived not breathing for the first 11 minutes of his life - he's 19 now - God's real - Jesus is real - He loves us more than life and knowing HIm makes life worth living because His loving kindness is greater than life itself - i'm pretty sure Elvis knew all this and more besides

I saw Elvis in concert twice in 1974. He was an incredible performer but he had too many "yes Men" surrounding him and they enabled his continued use of prescription drugs, many of which are not used today because of the dangers they presented with their continued use. I was in elementary school in '77 and remember the day he died. If you ever have a chance watch his last show and you will see just how bad off he was. In 1974 he was still kicking butt and it only took a few years of constant drug use, and a terrible diet and lack of any exercise or proper care to kill him. He died that day and his colon was the consistency of clay due to massive amounts of opiates that dehydrated him and clogged his intestines.

You don't know what supposedly "killed" him. Dr. Nick was sued for over prescribing drugs and he successfully won the case that was dismissed . Dr Nick had a nurse on station at Graceland who monitored Elvis's drug intake and she was instructed to place mostly Placebos ( fake pills) in Elvis's drug packets. The stammering Elvis you saw on stage in the summer of 1977 was all an act. Have you forgotten that Elvis learned to act in Movies? He had NO PROBLEM playing the guitar and had NO Problem remembering what keys to hit on the piano in his on stage rendition of Unchained Melody nor did he forget the words of the song. If he was in a drugged state that would not have been possible. There was noise about Elvis's poor health that was overstated. Elvis was fat not because his intestines were blocked but because he was always fat like his mother. He had to go through dietary ordeals that most of us could not tolerate to lose weight in order to look like ELVIS in the movies and on stage. The Truth is he got tired of the entire ordeal and the decadence of show business and walked away from being Elvis. The fans cannot accept that. They want to believe the lies they have been told. Elvis was in reality a heavy set guy ( fat) with white hair. His image was manufactured after he started to gain weight like his mother and his light brown hair that Elvis always dyed Jet Black turned white like Vernon's.

A correction. Lisa was telling a funny story about a time an Aunt humiliated her. But it tied in to the fact that EVERYONE on her Dad's side of the family has serious constipation. So, ok. I went to Elvis's funeral. They had stopped the viewing for fans by then so I never got inside Graceland for that. However, I know in my heart he died. HOWEVER! I have to share this: A short time before Elvis "died". I had friends that were also Elvis fans and had gone to concerts just like I had. My friend Tammy also had dated this guy called Sean Shaver. He was a photographer and I believe he was one of the few that was allowed on Elvis's floor where he was staying. In probably late May, early June, Sean told Tammy, "You need to go see Elvis out of state because he is going to retire" He was so serious about it that we knew we had to go. We had never gone out of NY State to see him before but we got plane tickets and went. Where? Cincinnati and Indianapolis. We saw the last 2 concerts he ever did! (To this day I cannot believe I was at those 2 concerts) At the end of the 2 concerts, I got separated from my friends, buy walking out of the venue I happened to be walking next to a guy that was from Buffalo. He was a well-known Elvis fan and also he went to many, many, concerts and sold Photographs of his pictures. As, we were walking, this guy was talking to someone walking beside him. He was telling this person, "That was the best concert I ever saw Elvis do" ( mind you, this guy had been to hundreds of concerts) Elvis played the piano, introduced his Father(and Ginger) and it was like he was knowing he was doing his last concert and wanted it to be really special for everyone and was doing it that way). I just can't get that nagging feeling to be gone that that concert was a planned end concert. And, the fact that Sean Shaver had told my friend Elvis was going to "retire" and to go see him! So glad we acted on his advice and went. But, what is the coincidence that we were told that and then he "died"? It's always there in the back of my mind.

Hurtful to his family! WOW! It was his own family that nearly destroyed his legacy! I respectfully disagree with your take on this. You do know his ex wife and Grandkids are a bunch of dirty cultists, called Scientologists, right? His ex nearly bankrupted his estate, early on, partly by shoveling, millions of his hard earned monies to the church. An auction ensued, most of EP personal belongings were sold off, then Graceland HAD to be open to the public, organized and prodded on by the church, to greatly benefit it and Lisa somewhat. PBP was not in EP will, but she made sure she was set financially, as a trustee for LM, paid herself like $12 million upon inking a terrible deal for her underage daughter! Cilla had legal docs drawn up after EP death that Graceland, part EP royalties, merchandising, etc., goes to the church of S! This is all still in place, though the ownership of EP enterprises has now been bought out to 52% by, a board member, majority stakeholder, who’s also the EPE, chairman. He is the only thing that stands a chance against the church, the EPE board has to vote to sell Graceland. Ya better hope the board can eventually buy it all or it will become Scientology HQ East, will be closed to the public, worst case scenario, the entire property will be turned into a TCOS training center and Scientology cemetery! You can read the legal docs online! EP was a Christian in the broadest sense, knew his Bible by heart! I bet he turned in his grave knowing one day his beloved Graceland will become the churches property, once there’s no, “blood relatives”, left to bequeath it too! Lisa got out of the church, but her mom and daughters are still in it. Her mom turned a deceitful, money grubbing, freak, that’s why LM and her barely spoke the past 2 decades. In recent years LM removed her mom from the board, along with her $900,000.00 annual salary, for…as LM put it, “she did no real work”, (was just a figurehead), that EP enterprises could no longer afford. You maybe one of them, TCOS folks, if so, more power to y’al, but if you aren’t get your head out of the sand, it’s his own family who did hurtful things, not his fans. It’s the fans keeping the entire EP legacy alive, if some of them want to believe he never died, it’s their right, as we do still live in a somewhat free country.

People loved him all around the world.

That is an exaggeration....all celebrities die because they are human. Not all celebrates die when we are TOLD that they they do. And the reason for the lies about some of them is always MONEY .... what world do you live in? Most do die as reported but there are others who generate far more money and wealth for whoever holds their rights after they are reported to be dead although they are still alive. And the amount of income that they generate for these controlling people is STAGGERING compared to what these people would otherwise gain if the celebrity was not reported dead.

The drug cocktail that he took that evening he died, was ridiculous. His cousin, he used to bring him the packets of medication… Said he took three of them that night to try to get to sleep. Not realizing that he was essentially counteracting both the upper effect of the painkillers and the downer effect of everything else. Had he taken everything but the pain pills, he probably would’ve been able to sleep after the first packet. It’s eerie to me how similar both his and Michael Jackson’s death are. Both died of a cocktail of craziness… Both had big, long concerts days ahead of them. Both were in dire financial trouble and had to rely on these concerts to get them back in the black. Both were having trouble with their voices at the time, and it is doubtful that Michael or Elvis would’ve gotten through all of the shows they had planned. Especially Michael, it’s tough to do 20 shows in a year, as opposed to 50. I don’t think he could’ve made it vocally. I think both were terrified of the shows, and how their voices would hold out. Probably in panic mode. Which makes me think that they both had reasons to fake their deaths. did they? Probably not. But, the similarities are eerily similar. Did Michael follow the blueprints that Elvis left before in order to get out of the public Spotlight and be able to live their lives outside of the scrutiny they faced every day? I’m sure they both had huge life insurance policies also. That could’ve gotten the estate back to Black, and then with Michael, he owned all of the Beatles catalog and many others… Which is worth a fortune and means that his kids and mother get royalties from them. So who knows. I wouldn’t put it past either… As I would do the same thing in their shoes. that’s one thing people don’t think of when they long to get famous. You give up your anonymity, and what you loved to do outside of fame… You can do no more. Michael had to rent out a mall and have his family and friends act as shoppers, so he could feel what the grocery store experience was like for normal people. It’s just sad what people along for, not realizing what those were already there, go through on a minute to minute basis. Your life is no longer your own, and everything you do is under strict scrutiny. Especially these days, where everybody has a high resolution, camera and video recorder on them. Everything you do is put under a microscope. Things you even did when you were a kid get called into question. So you can see why somebody would want to fake their death and get out of that public spotlight. Again, did it happen this way? I doubt it… But you never know. When you have the money to do anything, you have the resources to fake anything. So, if they did… God bless them. Because again, I would do the same in their shoes. You have all of this money and can do anything you want to do… but you don’t have the freedom to do it. Though some celebrities rise above it and take the intelligent path. Harrison Ford, Leah Thompson and a host of others, moved out of Hollywood and into little tiny towns in places like Montana. Where people aren’t starstruck, and we’ll treat them as they are average every day people. Again, exactly what I would do. They can live their lives and enjoy the spoils of their hard work. Be able to go out and enjoy the same things they did before they got famous. which is the best of both worlds and the smartest thing anybody could do. yet, 90% of these people live in Hollywood and seemingly feed off of the publicity. I don’t know how they do it.

After a moment of quiet, Ray said “You miss folks when they’re dead. I don’t miss my friend.” He smirked and took a sip, and that was the end of it.
