The Sabbath is already going for 150-200$ on the resale market. It is AMAZING and I'm glad I ordered it. Same with the Devo, I also got Miles Davis TUTU which sounds awesome.
VIVABEAT one of the most forgotten bands of the new wave era. I still have my Party In The Warzone album. I bought that Cure Live In Paris on CD back in the day. I need to dig it out and listen again.
I forgot about FM Skyline! I remember liking his 2019 album Advanced Memory Suite when I was really big into vaporwave. I didn’t know he was still putting out stuff! I’ll have to get this new album a listen, then.
Just received my BSBS ‘Greenie’ Artisan Sterling after missing the rhino release. Took a chance on eBay and it paid off in spades. The original Devo presses, not so good. Too bad as the music is killer. You might enjoy a Richard Buckner album from the 90’s. Sparse and beautiful. Another pick for you with Crowded House about to tour, the earlier iteration of Split Enz. Fantastic new wave pop. I just get nervous with these new Cure reissues as the vinyl seems to be only pressed at GZ media. Shameful that this company gets their hands on these iconic records. Especially if they do the mastering in house. If someone else does it, then they can press a decent product. The US ‘The Smile’ was pressed at GZ and it was awful. On the other hand, RSD The English Beat was pressed there with mastering done elsewhere and it rocks. Stay away from in-house GZ Media Memphis Records.

This song is trying a bit too hard to be a hit. He's trying to capture the magic of very early Billy Joel and it shows but in an insincere way. The melody line is really trying to sound like a hit. The melody line is a bit uninspiring. He is a talented artist. His singing, piano playing and overall musicianship. I think he can just cover good songs and they will be good. No need to write songs.

Somebody on KZread did video showing the young Paul McCartney and the one now. The younger Paul was rockin the guitar and never once did he look down at the strings of guitar, he played flawessly. With the split screen the Paul McCartney that we know know was constantly looking down at the guitar and strings while he played. Another intesting thing was the head bob of both McCartney's. If you look at the orginal Paul when sang his head moved side to side. when watching the later Paul when he sings his head is bobing forward and back not side to side like the original Paul.

Billy shears was a session musician and disappeared in 1966 , given the Beatles were the biggest act in the world around the time I don’t think it would be hard to replace him if he died especially when there’s talk of Beatles look alike contests and a man in another band who was very identical to Paul but lighter , taller and more tenor If he did die in a car crash in 1966 given how big the Beatles were it would have caused an insane wave of grief and chaos and ended the bands career - a band only works fully with all its living members in tact and that’s obvious when you look at other deaths like Brian jones , Kurt cobain , Brad delp and I’m sure many more Cheers everyone it’s fun to dig into this stuff

Good Video but the creator went in with preconceived notions which bulldozed over some key critical facts. David Dorloc for example, did not produce the recorded phone conversation on audio tape that Gail Brewer Giorgio released with her book. Mr. Dorloc admitted to recording an Elvis voice impersonation but not calling Ms. Brewer Gorgio at her home that late night. She recorded that without Elvis' permission and is why he severed his friendship with her. He did tell her in that call that he would give her "some ammo" to help her and this led to his first cousin, Gene Smith coming out with the news of Elvis filling out his own death certificate. There is also the matter of the DNA tests. In 2002, Dr. Harold Sexton's tissue samples from Elvis' autopsy did not match the tissue samples from his 1973 and 1975 liver biopsies when he was tested for hepatitis. The man claiming to be Elvis and going by his late stillborn twin brother's name, Jesse did submit his DNA to test against these samples. This was covered in the media for several months by news reporter Suzanne Stratford. Oddly, Jesse's sample did not match the liver tissue or autopsy tissue samples but it did match BOTH sides of Elvis' family when 2 of his first cousins (from his Smith and Presley sides) submitted their DNA to have tested against Jesse's. Elvis also wrote a book in his own handwriting in 2001 explaining why he had to retire and how he did it and who helped him. This book was compiled and published with the help of his doctor at that time, Donald Hinton. The book is titled, 'The Truth About Elvis Aron Presley: In his own words', "with Jesse'" ... Jesse's handwriting was also tested by court certified graphologist, Shirley Mason and confirmed to be Elvis. So we have both his DNA and handwriting a match. Jesse also helped prove his identity to some old friends he had prior to 1977 by recounting private memories and conversations each had never shared with anyone else. Elvis' good friend Wanda June Hill was one to be very pleasantly surprised/delighted to re-connect after all those years..The list of fun and verifiable facts goes on and on.....also interesting is that Howard Hughes was listed in Elvis' book as one of his friends who helped him "escape" in Aug. 77. The interesting part is that the world had thought Howard Hughes had passed away 16 months prior in April of 1976....It was not until 2010 that we learned from Howard Hughes' widow that he was never really a disheveled recluse, nor died in 1976. That was his homeless doppleganger he picked up off the streets of Las Vegas to live as him in the public eye to throw the media off his tail. When his body double died, his family gobbled up his estate and Mr. Hughes lived the remainder of his life (another 25 years) in Panama under an alias. This was in his widow's book titled, 'Boxes: The Secret Life of Howard Hughes'.....Who else other than Jesse/Elvis would dare to write Howard Hughes' name as his accomplice in his book in 2001 when the world thought Howard Hughes wasn't even still alive in August of '77...That truth didn't come out anywhere other than Elvis' book until 9 years later in 2010..(33 years after Elvis' retirement) ...Some food/facts for thought anyways..😉
