Obviously Elvis was a class act ........... but so were his audiences.

This song is immensely difficult to sing, but for Elvis, he makes it sound and look effortless. This is a perfect example of Elvis Presley's vocal prowess and soulful rendition of songs he makes his own via heart, talent and God given spirit.

I don't believe in heaven but I'm jealous of people who do. And that's a really touching story about your grandma. Also, I don't like country music very much so why is 'Just Pretend' by Elvis P one of my favourite songs?

He said once in an interview: "The image is one thing, and human being is another... it is very hard to live up to an image". That is so true! People forget that he was just a man, a human being like you and me. What a humble, sweet and polite man and his voice just melts butter....gorgeous, gorgeous man.

Over the years he’s almost become mythical. I find it hard to believe, looking at what’s known as talent today, that somebody of his calibre ever existed. Nobody has come close since, so it’s no surprise, 45 yrs later, that he’s still reaching new audiences & still has the love & adoration of old ones. To have seen him live must’ve surely been otherworldly. I can’t even begin to imagine what it was like for you.

I dreamt of him singing this song to my mom after he passed and Each step he took towards her he caught fire And as he got closer the fire burned more and sang more intense But he still moved closer…nd as he sung nd moved closer my mom was crying…but he got to her nd they held each other then I woke up.

@ 2:27 when he said “C’mon man!” he was referring to the high pitch screeching feedback that would ruin many live songs. So obviously he’s giving heads up to the sound engineering in charge. No lip synch, no auto tune nor any of those other shenanigans to help his vocal range, just pure raw talent, emotions and charisma with a capital C. I’ve been listening and admiring this man for nearly 60 years, in my estimation he is/was one in a billion talent, never to be seen again, we’re lucky we have his legacy, it certainly ensures his immortality…⚡️TCB RIP 💐

Wow, he’s sings this so perfect. One of my favorites. What amazing man in so many ways. I’d say he’s the most loved ever.

There will never ever be anyone who can match this wonderful singer. There wasn't any type of music he couldn't sing. That's why he was THE KING.

Impossible to ignore how truly gorgeous looking Elvis was and coupled with that magnificent voice he was without a doubt the GOAT. His singing still moves me to tears sometimes. ❤❤

I was born in 76 in England. I used to beg my mum to take me to see Elvis in America when I was old enough. Nobody had the heart to tell me he died. I found out when I was 8 and was devastated.

OMG!!! His singing is simply MAGNIFICENT!!!! How blessed can one person be, with such a voice, such beauty, such Charisma…… God gave him all, but he had to work very hard for all he had, due to that THIEVE named Parker. RIP. Dearest ONE!

Well I think he was under appreciated for quite a while, but certainly not now. I don't think Elvis knew how much the world loved this man. He gave to others like no other person on the planet. In that sense of how much he gave to all of us, he was the best there ever was and ever will be!

Elvis is the greatest of all time no need to look for any others, nobody has taken his crown and I doubt anybody ever will , Elvis Presley lives on forever.

First time I heard this song I cried like a baby. Went to Graceland in 2004 asked the dj to play it and cried again. Just beautiful.
