He took it from Beatles. Even when he hums, its perfection.
This really is one of my favorite of the available shows .
I love your reactions! You show so much appreciation for THE KING! 46 YRS tomorrow! Sad sad day for all of us ! RIP ELVIS ❤❤❤❤❤ WE ALL MISS YOU SO MUCH!!
John Lennon said, "Before Elvis there was nothing". It was a nod to the Beatles. This is yet another way Elvis tried to salute other artist. " I was the One" was written the 50's and a number 1 for many weeks. I played it over and over as a 12 year old. Thanks man you are the best.
Elvis was a true legend of rock there will not be another one like him. ❤❤👏👍😱😱
He was natural. How did we get that incredible human that we probably, collectively, loved him to death.
The best there ever was and will be
Omg awesome. Just love everything this man sings

Elvis recorded I was the one in 1956...Long before The Beatles...
Elvis liked the Beatles, so yes, this a nod to them. Did the Beatles ever do covers? I can’t think of any. I love watching you parent Nala. ❤

@@Roryreacts see! Learn something new everyday. I'm sure you'd enjoy the version (only recorded) of Elvis performing "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and made the bald joke, but a man in the audience took his toupee off and Elvis couldn't stop laughing. Then the lady singer was plugging along singing, which just cracked him up more. What a laugh that man had. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mquW3Np-frOYlag.html
Elvis was a Trent maker,Beatles where too,but 50 years from now Elvis will be remember it what puts him apart from the rest!!

a title given to him by white America.
His performances are fire but he's equally fascinating when rehearsing or goofing around.
I just love when he mess arround. Find it really funny. Love Elvis forever❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just super you can't beat Elvis live had to be the best performer ever he put his heart and soul into all of his performance l don't think anyone has had that natural raw talent which was him to a tee the man had it all the looks, charm, charisma he was the total package as always a great reaction from you it shows just how much you admire him he's the Goat 🐐 thank you 😊😊
Love love this video !!!
Yes Elvis done a few Beatles songs. Yesterday, Something, Get back. Hey Jude. Maybe another one not sure. All in full. Studio and live.
Yep just a short medley - priceless moments
That's a brilliant mix by Elvis.. can't beat him.. he's just a one off.. what he can do with that voice of his.. wears his soul on his sleeve when he sings.. and wicked sense of humour... but the voice the voice.. stunning.. Are you talking to a dog or cat ? 😳🥰
There’s no one like him and never will be. Elvis.
Love your reaction. More please 💕💕💕💕
that was a part of the show he did his much older stuff and sometimes a request or two, but on the really old ones he often hadnt rehearsed and didnt have all the words - but who cares right-? RIP ELVIS
Yes, that was a medley ; Little Sister/Get Back
Little Sister/ Get Back is an early mashup. He sticks the chorus from the Beatles song Get Back right in the middle of his classic early rock hit. I think this would have been a couple years after they're song that came out. Dwight Yoakam did a really great cover of Little Sister, and I have played it many times in my band over the years, always to good audience response.

The Beatles admiraron a Elvis Presley.-
hwey my channel tnks from brazil, remenber the king , the best ever , u welcome , the echo will never die, 46 years
I got a kick out of this. "Get Back" had just been a hit for The Beatles & Elvis obviously liked it. He also covered "Something", "Yesterday" & "Hey Jude". He sang "Something" one of the times I saw him in concert. Beautiful. Btw..that first song, "Little Sister" is one of Robert Plant's favorite Elvis songs. And I've seen Robert sing it in person. He had fun with it & couldn't help but slip in a bit of an Elvis impersonation. You probably know it but those 2 legends met & hit it off, talking together in depth about old time Blues. Robert had always idolized Elvis & still loves him. And I still love them both. Feel blessed to have seen them both, multiple times. 💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙

Great stuff, Rory. I've got that concert on CD but I'd never seen the footage before. Amazing. That first track, "Little Sister", was recorded and released in either 1961 or '62. And you're right; it was kind of a throwback to his '50's rock 'n' roll, but with a harder edge that would eventually morph into rock.
as usual its cool watching you watch these.. the admiration is quite evident.. im gonna have to find out how much you charge per elvis reaction .. ill gladly pay to see more lol (i lol'd but im also serious)
👑✌️
Tomorrow Aug 16th is Elvis's death date. Can you react to An American Trilogy Original 1972. It shows the day he died on the radio and TV as well as his funeral. ❤
Elvis sang that exactly like that in the 50s
Elvis respected the Beatles. That was a nod to them.
Love this Rory !!

He had gone down a 2nd time into the audience & 2 of his lower chains & tabs were ripped off of is jumpsuit, that's why his response to the woman in the audience was that he would never do that again.
Yes, it was a nod to the Beatles.
The song is Little sister, if he sang this before Beatles started their type of music, or not, but that is the way this song goes, so it's not a tribute to the Beatles
There is version at kzread.info/dash/bejne/a6Chl89peJOygc4.html that does not have that piece across the screen or interruption of seeing the audience (i think i sent that to you). The story of his uncontrollable laughter (not filmed) when he did a version of "Are You Lonesome Tonight" & said "gaze at your bald head & wished you had hair" is at kzread.info/dash/bejne/q2mdybedqbuWkrA.html from Charlie Hodge's book w-the explanation in words on screen.
You must watch Love me Tender where I goes down into the audience and kisses the women.
My favorite president Trump Awarded Medal Of Freedom to Elvis Presley four years ago. He said many people told him they look alike. Even at rally he mentioned how much he likes him and how much he wanted to become like Elvis.

What an insult to Elvis, who was a genuine southern gentleman.
Here are some of his spirutual songs: Amazing Graze, How great though art, I found this version of this great song: How great thou art acapella: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJlp25KrfaWvdqw.html You'll never walk alone, Crying in the chapel, Take me home precious lord, Why me Lord (written by Kris Kristofferson), I'm not sure if it's a gospel song Help me and many more, he also made several Christmas songs, also some type of Blues songs. . Here are some ballads and other songs: Turn around Look at me, Yellow rose of Texas (in a movie), Music is the food of your soul, Don't, You gave me a mountin, Unchained melody, My Way, Suspicius minds, In the Ghetto (written by Mac Davies), Memories (written by Mac Davies), If I can dream that is a tribute (parts of it is taken directly from the I can dream speach by MLK) to Martin Luther King JR and senator Robert Kennedy, What now my love, Walk a mile in my shoes (listen to the words in the beginning), Welcome to my world, Make The World Go Away, Let it be me, I'll Remember You, Bridge Over Troubled Water, An American Thrillergy, Hurt, Sweet Caroline, Just Pretend, What now my love, Are you lonesome tonight (laughing versin, or not), Oh Danny Boy (for you Irish people), a song that many might not know that he sung it is this one Green Green grass of home, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, Walk a mile in my shoes, Blue suede shoes, Hound dog, I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water, My Boy, Solitaire, well remember that he sang over 800 songs, yes most of them Covers, but that made the artists that he coverd more popular and they also got some money from it... There are some videos of when Elvis joking and messing up, he loved to joke around and pretend that he did not have control, but he had total control, he acctually conducted his musicans and back up choirs all the time!
NOT like the Beatles !! THEY all said they hit their inspiration FROM ELVIS!
Elvis started using drugs in the army back in 1958. Check this out In 1970 Elvis writes to President Nixon (the I am not a crook guy) and offers his services to help combat illicit drug use in the USA. Elvis mentioned that he knew a lot about drugs and was accepted by the hippies. He said he could go right into a group of young people or hippies and be accepted which he felt could be helpful to him in his drug drive. Nixon and Elvis exchanged pleasantries and agreed that “those who use drugs are in the vanguard of American protest.” In 1977 Elvis dies of drug overdose and drug abuse. Putting Elvis in charge of speaking on narcotic abuse is like leaving Dracula in charge of the blood bank. Hypocrisy: What is an example of hypocrisy? People who tell you not to eat candy while they chomp away on candy all day. HAH!
The purest Elvis recordings, in my opinion, are the 1958 Germany ( while in the Army, obviously ) home recordings and the 1966 Rocca Place ( one of his Beverly Hills homes ) home recordings. This is just Elvis amongst family and friends, mostly at the piano, sometimes playing a guitar.
