All singers sing within the voice given, but Elvis is the only one who could alter the timbre of his voice to suit any kind of music: Rock, Ballad, Blues, Gospel, semi Operatic, Country. The site, Elvis Presley Wikiquote, has dozens of quotes by music professors, singers and musicians in awe of his magical voice. Music producer, Phil Spector, said it best: "Gosh, he's so great. You have no idea how great he is, really, you don't. You have absolutely no comprehension-it's absolutely impossible. I can't tell you why he's so great, but he is. He's sensational. He can do anything with his voice."

I pulled this up, because he was my mom's favorite music man. I remember seeing him perform in 1977, at the Mobile Municipal Auditorium, Pattie Labelle as the opening act. He put on one heck of a concert. My mom had Elvis everything, coffee cup's, clocks, you name it, she had it. She passed away 3 years ago, and seems when I see anything Elvis, I think of her. No one will ever be as good as he was. Not just in song, but to his fans as well.

This movie was a top favorite of mine when I was young. It was released on July 9, 1957. The rock and roll really had the older people upset over it. However, the woman who played Peggy Van Alden was Judy Tyler born on October 9, 1932. She died on July 3, 1957 in a Wyoming car accident with he second husband that she had just married on March 31, 1957. This was just a short time after this movie had been completed. She was dead on the scene and her husband died the following morning. She never got to see the movie. Elvis was never able to watch the movie because of her death. It hit him very hard.

Over 48 million views...... Now that's what I'm talking about!!! Huge......
Not just in song, but to his fans as well.
this guy was amazing and i'm so sad he's dead. I remember watching something and he's dancing while singing and he was like why are they all screaming at my dancing- then he realised people liked it!
Great performer, natural dancer, king of rock'nroll and of all music.
I'm only 2 months old but I love this type of music :D
The Beatles. Elvis. Michael. Madonna. Whitney. Oh how I miss their old music!
The way Elvis dances in this video is golden. I wish they could recreate this.

This guy , sure could ROCK !
Great choreography! Elvis Presley still makes everyone’s eyes and ears happy!
I keep watching this ... and two things come to mind: even the chubby old guy can move; and more importantly, Elvis knew how to pole dance.

you know.. the bar that shows the likes and dislikes isn't showing on my screen.. i think that this song was so amazing that people liked it so much that the bar exploded from pure awesome..
His music is timeless, but i wish i was 20 in 1955 !
