You are so blessed to have lived during his lifetime and be young. Because I heard a lot of baby boomer's parents didn't approve of Elvis.

This was played at my moms funeral. She loved Elvis also it was the 16th December (2021). She was the most amazing lady. I’ll miss her everyday.

I appreciate many kinds of good music, I also know all the songs of Johnny Cash and June Carter (Great) and other great artists. However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time, but in all his songs, all the power of his soul comes out. One could also say that he gave his whole heart to his listeners. One of my favorites. My mom and dad were huge Elvis fans. So naturally I became one too lol I heard this alot as my mom passed away in Dec of 2012. My dad followed almost 5 years later. Elvis holds a special place in my heart and always will. Listening to him reminds me of my parents. ❤️

This song, the original of course, was the signal to me that the holidays have officially begun. The instore radio station at my first job would start mixing in holiday music the day after thanksgiving (this is the early 90's, so black friday wasn't really much of a thing.) When this song popped on, and it always made an appearance or two that day, the holidays had officially begun. (mom and I listened to his christmas albums every year growing up as well. This may have had something to do with my love of this song for sure.) Merry Christmas everyone!

How wonderful to hear this big song from Elvis who was joined by Martina McBride. I love them both. I remember as a little boy, my Mother and Aunt going to the old coliseum in Houston, to see Elvis and raving about him. As an adult I was transferred from Houston to Boston. I was surprise when one of the natives said, It is not Christmas until Elvis sings Blue Christmas. He reach everybody and is so missed.

This is a masterpiece! Elvis at his best in this fabulous Christmas song and also Country Singer Martine McBride sings very well. The whole video is wonderful combination of the voice of Elvis from 1968 (NBC TV show) and of Martine from 2008. Also technically, it looks perfect, despite the time gap of 40 years!

No matter where you're from , The magic of Elvis is worldwide, like it always was. Thanks E for your Legacy. Been a fan since I was 5 , in 1970, and have listened to The King everyday since. Every day!
