Elizabeth looked the same and sounded the same throughout her entire life. The compliments she gave to Mike Todd were also reflective of her...wonderful sense of humor, kind, generous, and very down to earth in real life.

9:52 is when the authentic 1950's music starts. Big band music with orchestral accompaniment. Todd worshiped Liz and he gave her everything, including an enormous extravaganza birthday party. When he died in their private airplane crash (named The Liz) Elizabeth was shattered. He was the love of her life, until Richard Burton came along who was her second "Love of her Life".

Definitely a pretty lady who had the best of what the 1940's, 50's, 60's and beyond could offer. A fairy tale existence that people now in 2022 are still watching,,,,,,geez.

I saw her in person with Eddie in 1961. More beautiful in person and the eyes sure looked like a deep violet blue to me. I was close by so I was able to get a good look. Both she and Eddie were not very tall. That surprised me.

It was indeed a glorious time for Elizabeth and she was radiantly beautiful, but her relationship with Mike Todd was volatile. I wonder if they would have remained together if he had lived.

Todd was the love of her life. He worshiped her. After Todd died, Richard Burton became the second love of her life. She had volatile relationships with both...love, fight, love, fight...like all narcissistic, high-strung, spoiled brat movie stars.

According to Debbie Reynolds, after witnessing a bit of verbal fisticuffs between Mike and Liz, he pulled her by the hair into their bedroom. Debbie ran to jump on Todd and Liz burst out laughing. Said something like: "Oh Debbie, you don't know how to live!" or some such thing, but more salacious. Taylor was a bawdy lady and he and she were made for each other. "Volatile" for them mean fun was in the offing.

That marriage would NOT have lasted ... she was just barely 25 when they married...Todd was 49 when he died in that horrific plane crash ... It didn't take long at all after his death for her to become "in love" w/Fisher, just 29 then ... btw, ET was a petite (in height) just 5-2 (despite what her Hollywood build claimed, along w/ridiculous purple/violet eyes) ... Her gorgeous blue eyes were speckled w/hazel/reddish tones around the pupils which is not unique but rather rare. Todd was a VERY short man in stature (so was Fisher, but only a bit less so) ... just observe pix of them together.
