Eli Tomac wheelies through whoops at daytona 2015

Спорт

Eli Tomac had RC, Emig & Ralph gobsmacked after this awesome Wheelie display at Daytona Supercross 2015. Consistently manualing the fast section of whoops lap after lap shows his awesome riding ability and talent. Can't wait to see the outdoors!

@@Hyper_drive214 yeh I got to see him at the Arlington Supercross 2020 race and signed my sling (I broke my collarbone) and didnt really bother asking what happened. Actually, none of the riders noticed my broken collarbone. All I got was a yeah and sure but idk I respect that. In just a few words I can really tell he's grateful for what he has and is genuinely a great guy. I feel like the reason he has small talk is because...come on... its race day he's got to stay focused

Been saying this for years, if he could consistently get a top 5 start, he would definitely have an easier chance at a championship, but still he hasn't improved much in his starts. I think it's to do with his gearing and suspension set up and how he is able to ride the bike, like he is, at higher speeds on rough track.

He has just the natural ability, and the raw tenacity that it takes...to be a champion. Sure, he hasn't got his first Supercross title yet. But I'm thinking this year, just might be the year...and let's not forget about Motocross. He is already a THREE time consecutive champion! And here's to number four in 2020! Go ET3!

Wow Eli was on a Honda,in 2015,its a cool move but its actually easier than u think, tall lanky riders have an advantage, what come into play hear is two things but mainly one Honda linkage ratio gets stiffer when the whoops are hitting it with the wheelie at a high position and the higher u keep the wheel the easier it is too control the hit of the rear tire,I did this same move, not as fast,at the meadowlands Amatuer supercross after watching Jean Michelle Bayle do it in the 250sx main the track was dry and there was a big whoop at the end, slow turn before it,Eli is going so fast beautiful to watch,it was actually very easy, everyone was like oh wow it actually a endurance energy saving move instead of using your legs to move ur weight thru the whoops u just get the bike on the bubble of power, get your weight in the right spot and tap the rear on each whoop and use the rear suspension and save human energy and mental too, because the linkage does all the work because u put it in a stronger position to resist compressing and u don't ,sorry your body does go up and down with the whoops it stays flatter....practice it and you will see...play time u can learn stuff,experiment.....see y'all, holy crap Eli is haulin...THANKS

Some whoops sections are so 'off' you just cannot go fast. What a clever guy to try something like that. He did not pick up any real time but at least his front end was not doing the fish out of water routine. I hate whoops. Track designers always try to screw up rider momentum. Tomac is top notch.
